"Say cheese" I said to Harrison and Tom once we got settled into the car. It was a big car for our large family, and my seats were facing Tom and Harrison, I was sitting next to mom. After I took it I posted it on my insta story

5 minutes after I posted it I got a text from Jake. It told me good luck and he loved me. I sighed "Who's that?" Mom asked. I could tell Harrison and Tom were trying to discreetly eavesdrop. "OHhhh" she said smiling and I shook my head "what'd he do?!!" We were basically facing each other now. "He didn't do anything, and that might be the problem? I don't know, it's like he only makes "moves" on me when I'm hanging out with other guys" I shrugged my shoulders "Eh! Who cares! He probably wants to take things slow but know how amazing these other guys your hanging out with are and feels threatened" she explained "I mean he probably doesn't mean any harm. You like him don't you? Maybe you should make a move!" I raised my eyebrow at the thought of that. The smile tom had on his face had faded and he seemed uneasy. Harrison went and typed something on his phone and then Toms phone rang. It was the ringtone he had set for Harrison's phone. I wish I could know what it said TOMS POV! "Maybe you should make a move!" Mrs. Down- Susan suggested to Rory. Why couldn't she be saying that about me? Why couldn't Rory be worrying about me. Well actually if i was in Jakes place instead of him this wouldn't happen. Rory would always matter, not just when there competition. She deserves better then that piece of scum. I heard my phone text alert go off, it was the ringtone I use for Haz. I picked up my phone as he set his down
Haz you realize she's madly in love with you also?
Tom that's where your wrong
Haz ok then
Tom you are! And I don't even like her
Haz whatever you say
I rolled my eyes then clicked off my phone.
Back to Rory's POV We made it to the funeral home. There were already many people there, except Indio. "I swear to god! Susan if he doesn't-" Dad started saying. Right as he said it a car pulled in. It was Indio. He parked next to our car "Sorry I was late!" He told us as he closed his car door "Whatever we're used to it" Dad said, mom rolled her eyes. She walked over to him straightening out his jacket. It all started feeling so real, so extremely awfully real. "Hey Rory!" Indio said as he hugged me, squeezing me tightly. "Hey IO" I've called him Io since we were kids, it's just an us thing though. "This is Harrison and Tom" I pointed to them as I said there names, and they all shook hands. "Well, lets go in" Dad grabbed Avri and picked her up, so we could go quicker. "I want tom to hold me!!" She said squirming. Dad rolled his eyes and turned to tom. Not even asking and just handing her off to him. Mom laughed "I think someone has a little crush" "I know Toms madly in love" I smiled pinching Toms cheek. Everyone laughed. "T grab someone's hand!" Mom said carrying the desert and food bag in. He silently walked next to Harrison grabbing his hand. Harrison smiled. I walked on the other side Harrison. "You should feel honored" I quietly gestured to T. Harrison laughed confused "well I mean normally only let's me and mom hold his hand, soooo" I playfully elbowed his arm. "I guess he just likes his hair styler" shrugged laughing. We made it inside. "Harrison, Tom, Rory!" Mom handed me the two bags "Someone put these in the kitchen, and someone else there's bulletin boards in the trunk, and Avri wants to help with those. So two and two?" Mom said smiling "I want bulletin boards, tom!" Avri said tugging his hand. "Well there ya go!" I laughed at tom, he shrugged his shoulders as avri pulled him outside. I sat the bags on the table. There were like 30 sub sandwiches in one bag. Then the other bag had coffee cake, Assortment of cookies, brownies, and some doughnuts. "Y'know you look a lot different in person" Harrison laughed as he laid the deserts out and I started unbagging the subs. "In person?" I laughed back with him. "Yeah, the first day tom met you he got in his apartment shoes weren't even off and FaceTimed me. He like started telling me all about you and then found some pictures offline of you, not in a creepy way though. But just to show me, I was like show me a good picture of her, because the first one was blurry and he said 'all of them are good pictures, if there of her'" I felt my cheeks blush. "He said that about me..." I faced the other way to continue to unload the subs, and hid my smile. I felt butterflies in my stomach. "Does that make things awkward" Harrison asked stopping unloading things. "No-no not at all" I hid my smile aside "I mean at first I feel me and him both felt like we liked each other. But I'm with Jake now, he's probably talking to better girls. We both lost that feeling" I lied to both him and myself. He might've not like me anymore, but I still like him. He came next to me "as much as neither of you like to admit it. The feelings never changed" then he left the room. No! I can't like tom, he works with my dad. Plus! He doesn't like me. I grabbed my phone and without even thinking.... Rory hey, wanna go on another date Thursday?
