Ava's breath got caught in her throat as her eyes glossed over, she badly wanted to cry but she managed to fight against it. "You.. y-you what?", the blue-haired girl asked, her voice shaking slightly. (Y/n) turned her face away from her. "You heard me, the only child that I will accept will be of Edwards DNA, not that man's". Her voice dripped with venom, this was not the same kind and caring woman that the two loved with all of their heart.

Meliodas nods his head, clearing his throat to gather everyone's attention. "Anyway, the mission we've been sent on gives us a warrant to search your premises", the blonde addresses Edward. Ban's mouth hung open in shock and disbelief. "But (Y/n), what are we go-". "Ban", Meliodas stops him. "She has the choice to do as she pleases and if this is where she wants to be then there is nothing we can do to stop her. Her choice is her own, not yours". If possible Ban's face fell even more, looking even more disappointed then ever before. His heart had been broken before his very eyes, now he knew exactly how she felt. The two weeks that she spent, loyal and waiting for him to return. But he never came, it took 11 years to finally come back to her and now... 5 years later she was the one to go.

"Right", Edward cuts in. "Feel free to look anywhere you would like, use magic or whatever you need to look too. I'll do whatever I can to help find those poor women, it's such a tragedy. Why would someone do such a terrible thing?". "You make it sound like their helpless", Ava muttered, her teeth gritted and fists clenched. Edward chuckles and approaches the teen, petting her head. "A strong one I see, exactly what I'd expect from (Y/n)'s DNA. Anyway, there are four floors and many different towers so search to your heart's content. I'll have Morgan call the rest of my staff down too so that they won't be in your way". Meliodas approaches Edward and shakes his hand. "I do apologize for the intrusion, by the way, we're just following orders". Edward chuckles. "I completely understand, I would be devastated if you dearest (Y/n) was stolen from me and so I wish you luck in finding them".

Ban's entire body tensed, a rush of anger surging through him. He was ready to punch the bastard through several walls and take (Y/n) in his arms, running her back home. He would lay her on the bed and cuddle her all night, not wanting to let her go. Refusing to ever release her, she was everything to him and he would do anything to get her back. Before he could raise his fist a hand was placed on his shoulder.

Ban looked back to see Gowther with his usual blank face. "Sometimes its best to stay calm and think about the repercussions of your actions before going out of control and potentially harming those around you". Ban suddenly relaxed, not of his own will but of some sort of magic. Merlin sighed and stepped in front of the blue-haired man. "We'll talk about all of this later so don't say a word, do as you're told". He gives a hesitant nod. "Okay Dianne and King will go to the 4th floor, Ban and I will go to the third floor, Merlin, Ava and Elizabeth will go to the second floor and Gowther will look around this floor with the holy knight". "What about me oink?", Hawk asks, nudging the blonde's leg. "You can come with Ban and I". Once they all knew where to go they were off, beginning to search for the missing women or any clues which would lead to their discovery.

Timeskip 2 hours

Even after searching for so long nothing was found. Not even a trace, with no evidence there was nothing that suggested Edward was involved in this at all. The sins gathered by the door with Edward and (Y/n) there to send them off. Edward chuckled and waved to them. "Good luck, I hope you find them". Meliodas bows and turns around, heading out the door with everyone following behind him.

But before all of them could go, Edward called out. "Ban". The immortal turned around, not pleased with having Edward in his presence. "I have something to give you". Curious, Ban came closer, opening his hand to receive the item from Edward. The brunette opened his hand and dropped something into Ban's much larger hand, closing his fist for him. "She won't be needing it anymore so I just thought you'd like it back". Ban tried to open his hand to look but was already pushed back by Edward, having the door slam in his face. He stared blankly at the door before looking down at his closed fist. He slowly opened it, revealing a very familiar ring.

"Hey! Come back! Ban! Ava! Can you hear me!?". A loud groan was heard from every angle of the room, it was as if the room was speaking. "Would you shut up already? Your constant yelling is really getting on my nerves". "Never, I will never be silenced! Ban! Ava! Please someone!". "Shut up! No one is going to come and save you! There is no way to get rid of me now and you'll be stuck here forever", the voice chuckled. You sat down in the middle of the large empty room. There was nothing in there, only floors, walls, a ceiling and a window which seemed to show you whatever your fake self was seeing. You pulled your knees to your chest, you face hidden in your hands. "What did they do to me?", you whisper. The voice chuckled. "Your soul has been replaced with mine, therefore I own your body and can control it. My soul is much stronger than yours and so there is nothing you can do to get your body back, my soul weakens yours".

You let out a sigh and lay down, holding yourself. Your eyes close as you wish for this all to be a dream. When you open your eyes Ban and Ava will be there, hugging you and telling you how much they love you. Your lips curve into a smile while your eyes begin to leak, tears falling freely. But it was then, when you were in your lowest state, that you heard something which you couldn't explain. It was faint but it was still there... a heartbeat.
