You look up at the group who sat before you, Alice stood by your side, obviously nervous.
"I know that I've just returned but there is something I want to do before I return to Liones," you announce. There was a lot of muttering throughout the crowd of sins, women and holy knights.
"Where are you going?" Ban asks, sounding desperate. You sigh and smile softly over at him.
"There is something I wish to do, I want to see young Alice home. I hope that you'll respect my request and allow me to go on my own to take her back." The group began talking again before finally stopping. Meliodas took a step forward.
"I see no problem with this. Ban? Ava? Are you willing to let her go?" he asks, turning to the two identical haired father and daughter. Ava jumped up, nodding her head enthusiastically.
"Of course, I trust her more than anything. If she wants to do something then she can, all I want is for to come back!" she enthuses. You couldn't help but chuckle at her energy. Next was Ban's reaction. He looked a little upset.
"We'll talk about this in private," you say before moving to pull Ban out of his seat and into a secluded part of the forest.
"Why do you want to go? You just got here," he argues, trying not to raise his voice. You let out a sigh and glare at him, he wasn't going to be easy to reason with.
"Come on, this is one time that I want to do something for me. This is all I want, why are you so clingy all of a sudden?" It was now his turn to send you a glare.
"Why am I so clingy? Well, my fiance just got kidnapped, taken away from me for whoever knows how long and as soon as she comes back she wants to leave me again." You let out a sigh and take a step towards him even though he was upset with you. Cupping his cheeks, you smiled up at him.
"Ban, please stop this. I know that I just got back and I'm happier than ever, but there is one thing I have to do." He stays quiet, turning his eyes away while you still held his face.
"I missed you so much while I was gone and I'm so happy that I'm finally back with you. Don't you dare think otherwise but this is important to me," you beg. He sighs, letting his eyes drift in the direction the two of you had come from.
"It's about that girl, isn't it?" he mumbles. You give a small nod. Letting out a sigh he pushes your hands away, leaning down to peck your lips.
"Fine, you can go. But I'm not sharing you when you get back, you're all mine," he chuckles with a smirk. You roll your eyes, unable to withhold a snort.
"Really? Flirting with me right now?" He just shrugs his shoulders, wrapping his arms around your figure, holding you to his chest in a gentle embrace.
"And... what are you gonna do about it?" he teases. You lean up to met his lips but are interrupted by the sound of loud footsteps and feminine screams. You and Ban run back to the camp, noticing a full-sized Diane having arrived with a struggling Edward in her grasp. You could tell that Ban wasn't too happy seeing him so you reached over and took his hand to calm him down. It seemed to work as well since his face relaxed. The screams had come from the women once they saw Diane holding the man who had kidnapped them. She placed Edward in the arms of one of the holy knights before taking a seat in a large empty spot next to the castle.
"I was doing a perimeter check when I saw him returning to the castle, Merlin told me that you guys had found all the missing girls in the castle so I decided to save us the time and capture him now," she enthuses. Now realizing that this was all over, she looked around, trying to find you. You stepped forward, releasing Ban's hand before running to hug the giant. She giggled and lifted you up, letting you hug her cheek. It was always nice seeing her again. Soon after much talking and catching up with the giant, it was starting to get dark.
