Leaving the small barely furnished room, you made your way over to the wall which held the keys to the cells. Many of the women looked up and over at you when they heard the quiet jingle of the keys. You approached the nearest cell and opened the door, immediately noticing the five girls who sat huddled in the corner. Alice followed you in, looking down the at the shivering young women. You moved closer to them and kneeled, offering them your hand.

"I'm going to get you out of here," you announce. Their eyes widen, tears filling them as they became filled with hope knowing there was a chance of them leaving this place. One of the women, breaking into loud sobs, launched herself into your arms. She cried heavily as you consoled her, returning the embrace while gently rubbing her back. She sniffled loudly, eventually pulling away to wipe her eyes.

"Thank you," her weak voice croaked out. You smiled down at her, petting her head affectionately.

"It's fine, just-" You were suddenly cut off by the sound of the basement door opening, Morgan entering. Your eyes widened in shock, having not expected his entry. Alice managed to close the cell door and hide in the corner beside one of the other girls. You crouched beside the girl who had hugged you, making sure that Morgan wouldn't notice you in there. He walked past the room, his dull eyes scanning each cell. When he passed your cell, he didn't seem to notice you or Alice. You couldn't help but smirk as he approached the wall opposite the cell, reading something that was carved into the stone wall.

Without hesitation, you stood and silently approached the bars of the cell. The bottom quarter of the wall was made of stone while the rest were metal bars, allowing anyone to look in and out of the cell.

You took a firm hold of the wall before using pure strength to rip it from its foundations, throwing it at the mage. He had heard the breaking of the wall but was too slow to react and use his magic, he was caught off guard. The force of the stone knocked him out while the cell bars trapped him against the wall, making sure that he wouldn't be able to move when he woke up. You stepped out of the cell and stared down at the pathetic man who had caused you so much trouble, without Morgan, Edward was just a weak, delusional man. You let out a long breath, being knocked from your thoughts when you heard the sound of a familiar voice.

"Mom?" You turned your head to see Ava standing before you, shaking as she eyed your figure. You could tell that she was trying to figure out whether it was you or not, the last time hadn't gone too well for her.

"Mom, is that you?" she asks, taking a shaky step forward. You slowly nod your head and open your arms, having her immediately run and jump into them. There seemed to be a lot of crying today, Ava being even louder than anyone else in the room as she sobbed into your dress. While holding her, you hadn't noticed the sins who stood at the entrance of the basement, all of them staring at you in shock. But no one was as shocked as Ban.

The blue-haired man stood frozen, unable to figure out whether this was reality or if this was another dream. Ava looked back at the others after releasing you. She continued to smile as the tears dripped from her face, sending her father a reassuring nod.

Once it confirmed, he ran, picking you up and hugging you tightly. Your feet weren't touching the ground because of the height difference but none of that mattered. You wrapped your arms around his neck and rested your forehead against his collarbone, inhaling his scent. You found it to be very relaxing, this was something that you missed the most, being in the arms of your lover.

When the two of you pulled away, he immediately connected your lips. The kiss was passionate and needy, it had been so long such you had felt his touch. Only when you kissed did you realise how much you had missed the feeling, the last time was on the night he had proposed to you and it had been a while.
