Ban stood from his seat, a serious expression on his face.

"So what are we gonna do now? Are we just going to wait around until she eventually grows strong enough to take her body back?" he asks, his eyes darting around the room to see the reactions of his comrades. They looked just as upset and annoyed by this new news as he was.

"No, I won't let this happen!", Diane announced, standing as well.

"We need to get her back and if you won't let us go then I'll go by myself," Ban adds, his fists clenched. Merlin sighs and leans back in her seat.

"Ban, now is not the time to act irresponsibly."

"I don't care, you all sit around and act like this isn't as serious as it actually is. (Y/n) is gone and there is a chance that we won't see her again!" he yelled. King kept his eyes on the floor as he spoke.

"What are you talking about?" he mumbled, "Even if we don't get (Y/n) back now she will eventually overpower the other soul." Ban pinched the bridge of his nose, returning to his seat and hiding his face in his hands.

"Even if her soul is still there within her mind that doesn't mean it won't stay there." Diane glared at Ban.

"What do you mean by that? Merlin just said that she would eventually come back!" All eyes moved to Merlin as she watched Ban's breakdown in silence.

"Is there anything you have to add, Merlin?" Meliodas asks. Throughout the argument he had stayed silent, not wanting to get in the way of the others as they spoke. The mage let out a long breath before nodding.

"Sure there is a chance her soul could become stronger but there is also a chance that it will get weaker. Once it reaches the minimum amount of strength the soul will detach from the body, she will be dead," she explains. No one spoke, there wasn't much to say. This new information had lowered their hopes and suggested that (Y/n), an immortal, would die because of this.

"(Y/n)'s body drunk from the fountain of the undead, not her soul. The same goes for Ban and the fountain of youth. Even though she is immune to physical attacks because of her regeneration she isn't safe from attacks to her soul. That has been a way to kill immortals for thousands of years, it is extremely difficult to complete and requires high magical skills. My guess is that Edward's mage is very high level and that's how they managed to overlap a soul over her's." All remained quiet, Ava opened her mouth to add a comment but quickly closed it soon after. This was too much for the teenager. She had to watch her father and everyone else she looked up to go crazy over her missing mother. Thinking about how all of this affected everyone made her feel sick, no one should have to go through all of this. Thoughts of losing her mother forever filled her mind, she had felt similar to when she was younger but these were much worse. Every time her mother would have to leave to not raise suspicion about the village they were staying in and help others in need, Ava felt as if she would never see her again. But every time she was proven wrong and her mother would return with arms wide open. She didn't care about herself and how she didn't get to spend much time with her mother in the beginning, all she wanted was for her to be happy. But it's hard to be happy when you're dead.

Without realizing, Ava started to cry. Her weeping started off inaudible but grew louder as the adults around her began to start arguing again. One by one they noticed the troubled girl, stopping so that the only sound was the sound of her cries. Diane moved to Ava's side and wrapped her in a protective hug.

"Come on, Blue. Don't cry, we'll sort all of this out." She sighed and shook her head.

"You keep arguing like you don't have any options," she sniffles, wiping her eyes. Ban peeked through his fingers and eyed his daughter's crying face. Merlin hummed.
