"This is fucked up! Who the fuck would want to kill a child?!"

"This person, obviously. Likely a sociopath." KX answered, his eyes fixed on the crime scene photos. Hank shot him a look that KX either ignored, didn't notice, or didn't know how to respond to. But Connor was slightly intrigued.

"What makes you think they're a sociopath?" Connor asked, scooting his chair closer to KX. KX looked up at him, almost surprised that someone wanted him to tell them something.

Well, he would have been surprised if he was capable of that. His creator—who addressed herself as his mother, didn't really like hearing him talk all that much.

"According to the chief, it's particularly difficult to build a suspect list for the Ripper. Sociopaths are hard to spot, and especially hard to consider a suspect. They are either charming and seemingly very innocent, or they act just like any other human being. They blend info a crowd." He explained, shifting in his seat so his feet were on it.

"They are likely just like any other person. And according to the first crime scene reports; it appears they've done things like this before." He continued, spinning his chair around.

Connor watched with vague bemusement as he did this, likely absentmindedly. It was odd for a non-sentient android to have a quirk or tick like that, but it was kind of funny.

"But it doesn't explain why they targeted a child, not to mention in the same place from their previous crime and only two hours after it took place." Hank interjected, leaning against a desk, a deep frown on his face.

"Perhaps a warning? To prove they're ruthless? Strike terror?" Connor suggested. There was silence between the three of them, before Hank grabbed his keys from his pocket and made for the door.

"I think I know someone who can help us."
