When I walked down the hallway I spotted Gus who obviously spotted me too
"Dani!"
He said surprised coming to me and hugging me.
"Hey Gus. Whatsup?"
I asked
"Maths. Homework"
He said
We walked towards the class.
"By the way, I was thinking if you'd wanna, maybe go to the movies this saturda-"
He was saying but I interrupted him as Raven came to us hugging me
"Raven!!"
I said excited hugging her
"Guess what"
She said.
"The guy next door you called kinda cute, is on the same math class with us"
Raven said.
"Oh my god"
I said
"I know right and he's super sweet, of what i've heard. You know Alexa?"
Raven asked.
"Yeah super sweet.."
Gus whispered annoyed.
"Wait. You not about to tell me they're dating, are you?"
I asked
"Sorry. I probably should've mentioned that earlier"
She said.
"Yeah."
I said.
"But Alexa even treats her dog better than Kells. You have a chance"
She said.
"Raven im not gonna hit on another girl's man"
I whispered
"You would'nt be the one cheating. He would"
She said.
"I'll just befriend him. I can have guy friends. I have Gus, right?"
I said.
"Yeah you have me. You dont need other guy friends"
He said putting his arm around me.
"Looks like someone has a crush on Dani"
Raven said.
"Pfft.. No I dont thats ridiculous"
Gus said quietly looking away.
"Yeah well Gus is like half gay so."
Raven said smiling and looking away as I laughed.
"No im not wtf"
Gus said.
"Lets go"
Raven said and we walked inside the class with a bunch of other students taking a seat.
I put my bag down and Raven sat next to me.
"Omg Dani"
She whispered to me
"What?"
I asked
"He sits infront of you"
She whispered
"Oh. Should I move?"
I asked
"No!"
She said.
I took out my books and opened the right pages.
"Hey baby. I missed you"
Alexa said walking by Kells but he didnt mind her.
"You didn't call me last night. What was that all about?"
She asked.
"Alexa. We broke up. I have nothing to say to you anymore"
Kells said.
I looked at Raven and she looked at me.
"Fine. Its your loss then"
Alexa said slowly walking away to her group.
Kells took out his books and I continued with my exercises.
"Hey"
He suddenly said turning around.
"Hi"
I said.
"Do you have a pen?"
He asked
"Yeah hold on"
I said taking my pencil case and taking out a pencil with an eraser at the end handing it to him.
He put his hand on mine putting the pen in his fist then touching my hand.
He looked at my hand and then at my face.
GUS'S POV:
Dani was sitting on the other side of the class from me talking to some guy. Ugh. I heard that guy moved next to her too. I was asking her to the movies but Raven interrupted me. Kells pisses me off so bad right now.
"You okay there buddy? Drooling all over her"
Steve, the captain of the football team said hitting my shoulder with his friends laughing.
"No im not"
I said denying it.
"A guy like you is not gonna get in her pants anyways"
Steve said laughing.
I looked at him and then at Dani again. She was smiling at Kells. Ugh
DANI'S POV:
"Pretty. You did it yourself?"
He asked looking at my nails touching them
"Yeah"
I said blushing a bit
"Cool"
He said smiling a bit.
He turned around looking at me and I just kept looking at the back of his head.
I looked over at Raven and she was smiling at me. I smiled back a bit then focusing on the exercises.
45 minutes later..
The schoolbell rang and I put my books in my bag getting up with Raven. We were supposed to hang out after this.
"My place?"
I asked her.
"Yup"
She said and we walked outside the class
