Chapter 6: How Could You?

In the courtroom, Applejack and Twilight's pictures were now in their place with the red X on them. "You may begin!" Lunar Nightmare exclaimed.
"So, what have we got so far?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I found a knife!" Derpy said, holding it up. The sharp end was covered in blood and was very dull. "Great, so we have a weapon," Doctor said, "but what about the pony?"
"What about that cupcake that we found?" Rainbow Dash asked. Everypony turned to Pinkie Pie. "What?" Pinkie a Pie asked.
"We are accusing you of murder." Shining Armor said.
"I wouldn't ever do that! Besides, that cupcake wasn't even for Twilight! I made it for Fluttershy!" Pinkie Pie cheerfully exclaimed. Fluttershy sank in her seat, whimpering. "Lunar Nightmare," Doctor asked, "is there anything that can induce sleep in the castle?"
"I give out sleep medication for whoever asks for it. The only pony who has was Fluttershy," Lunar Nightmare said, "oops, did I say that out loud?" Fluttershy started softly crying. She was scared out of her wits. "Fluttershy," Rarity said, "is there something that you'd like to tell us?"
"I..." Fluttershy didn't continue. She kept her eyes away from everypony else. "Fluttershy..." Derpy's words trailed off, she couldn't believe that the one she trusted the most stabbed her in the back.

"The results are in, everypony!" Lunar Nightmare cheered. The slot machine appeared and Fluttershy's face was on all three of the slots. The word 'Guilty' was spelled underneath. "Fluttershy, how could you!" Rarity shouted.
"I'm so sorry, everypony!" Fluttershy sobbed, "I asked Lunar Nightmare for medication to help me sleep. When I went upstairs, I thought that Twilight was going to kill me, being in the library alone. I decided to kill her before she killed me. I asked Pinkie Pie for a cupcake, and she made me one. I put the medicine on it and gave it to Twilight. Once she was asleep, I cut off her horn, just in case she woke up. I slit her throat for a quick death, so it wouldn't hurt too much. I didn't realize my mistake until I saw what she was reading."
"Well, it's execution time! I have made a new execution just for you, Fluttershy!" Lunar Nightmare laughed.

Execution: Lion Taming
Lunar Nightmare pulled out the hammer, slamming it down on the red button. The Luna side came from the left side of the screen towards Fluttershy, then the Nightmare Moon half shown as she carried Fluttershy away. The words, 'Fluttershy has been found guilty, let the execution commence!' were shown underneath. The metal claw grabbed Fluttershy and pulled the sobbing Pegasus away. The ponies were shown: Fluttershy stood in a circus arena, with a cage on the opposite side of her. The cage was opened and a lion jumped out, roaring. Fluttershy tried to calm it, but to no avail. At that moment, she realized that this is what she deserved. She murdered her best friend simply because of a misunderstanding. She didn't want others turning on her, but that's what she did to them. Fluttershy smiled. She closed her eyes and let the lion tear her apart, accepting her fate.

Author's note: This chapter was a bit of a shortie, now wasn't it? I'm honestly disappointed that Twilight was killed, I thought she would last longer. So, I switched the story to Rainbow Dash's perspective. The rest of the story before Twilight's death will still be told in her perspective, no worries! I was also surprised that Fluttershy, of all ponies, killed her! Anyway, by the time you are reading this, the story would've hit 20 reads, which is insane! That may not sound like much, but it is to me! Anyway, I'll see you all in the next chapter! Bye bye!
