I got out of rehearsal early and went straight home. After a long day of singing and dancing and practicing lines I was exhausted. I was startled by the toy I accidentally stepped on as I walked through the garage door. "Finn! I'm home." I yelled as I walked up the stairs. I walked into the nursery to find Allen standing in his crib, clutching the bar with an adorable grin on his face. I picked him up and kissed him on the forehead, "Where's daddy?" I asked in one of those high pitched, motherly voices. Holding him, I walked into the bedroom. Finn was sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands. I heard a sniffle, so I put Allen in the basinet next to my bedside and sat down next to him. By stroking his back and kissing the left side of his head, I tried to comfort him. "What's wrong, honey?" I whispered in his ear in concern. There was no reply. I put my hands on his wrist and pulled gently, in attempt for him to lift up his head. "Finn? Honey? Please talk to me, please?" He stood up and walked to his dress and handed me an envelope. Not saying anything, he sat back down and dropped his head."Open it," he said softly.
