After lunch I insisted on leaving so Allen and I went home. I put him down for a nap and after sticking my dirty clothes in the washer, I took a nap, too. After a couple hours I got up because I was feeling sick. I went into the bathroom and threw up. I felt a little light headed so I brushed my teeth and took a Tylenol and laid back down. 30 minutes later, Allen woke up crying so I went into the nursery and fed him in the rocking chair. Then I burped him and changed him. We went downstairs, and it was already 4:30. I didn't really feel like cooking so we went out to Sardies and relived my college days by listening to performances and eating. I told Allen this was the best date I had in years and he just stared at me, drooling. After dinner, I hailed a taxi and we went home. I gave Allen a bath and then we decided to watch a little tv. I put Allen on the floor and sat down next to him and turned on the tv. The news was still on from this morning. It was some fire story so I searched for the remote and found it in the cracks of the coach. I turned around to change the channel, but another story began. "About four hours into it's flight, after departing New York, we lost connection with the plane. We aren't sure if the plane crashed or if we just lost signal." In my head I thought about how scary that would be, and picked up Allen who had inched his way from me and put him on my lap. "We will keep updating you on Flight 78 so-" I stopped listening.
