Trying to apologise

Matt's POV

I can't believe what has happened for the past few days the notes I have gotten keep getting worse I keep ignoring them but anyway I am in my locker room Jeff is with Trish I had a memory from when I was young.

*Flashback*

Matt: I will always protect you 

Jeff: and I will protect you just promise me one thing

Matt: that would be?

Jeff: if something is wrong or someone has hurt you let me know

Matt: I will and same goes to you

Jeff: I will

Matt: *smiles*

I walked out of my locker room and went down to the ring.

J.R: what is Matt Hardy doing out here?

Jerry: not sure but from the expression on his face it doesn't seem good

I walked up the steps and got in the ring and went to get a microphone my music then died down.

Matt: I want to say sorry to Jeff and Trish for what I have done and I am really sorry for what I have done to Jeff 

Jeff came down the ramp and walked up the steps and got into the ring grabbed a microphone and stood in front of me.

Jeff: you are sorry? 

Matt: I am

Jeff: Matt you ain't sorry because after everything you have done to me and Trish shows me that you don't care

Matt: I am sorry Jeff I know I haven't been myself 

Jeff: no you listen to me Matt Hardy I am your brother and when we were younger you promised me that if someone hurt you or something was bothering you, you would tell me and I can help you.

Matt: I know

Jeff: but you don't love me you hate me Matt don't ya you hate me 

I glared at him.

Jeff: all these things and for what Matt you could've killed me, you're sick, twisted, evil and demented *walks away from Matt* and so am I 

Jeff attacked me and I slid out of the ring.

Matt: I'm sorry Jeff

Jeff rested on the bottom rope with hurt in his eyes.

Trish's POV

I just saw what happened Matt just apologised and Jeff attacks him I sighed why can't the boys get on. I walked to the curtain and my music played.

J.R: it's Trish

I walked down the ramp and slowly got into the ring and walked up to Jeff.

Trish: Jeff I know you're angry but you can't attack your brother you will regret it like Matt will

Jeff: *sighs* you're right

I looked up and saw Matt slowly walk up the ramp and backstage I stood up and helped Jeff up a little and he gave me a small smile.

Jeff: he just can't apologise and think it is okay after everything he has done to me and what he has done to you

Trish: Jeff I told you that I will be fine the thing you should be worried about is Matt he is your brother

Jeff: I know Trish but sometimes he can be stubborn and I am sick and tired of trying to get him to tell me what is wrong but not anymore so Trish thanks for helping me but don't help me anymore.

Trish: Jeff?

Jeff stood up and walked out of the ring I could not believe what Jeff has said but I guess it is gonna go back around again but anyway I got out of the ring and slowly walked backstage Jeff saw me and he had a sad smile on his face.

Jeff: Trish I am sorry 

Trish: save it Jeff 

I ignored him and walked to my locker room I saw Lita sitting on the bench when I opened the door she saw me and she hugged me.

Lita: I know you were just tryna help them two

Trish: *nods*

Lita told me what she saw and I told her a few things about what happened while she was gone.

Jeff's POV

I got backstage and I instantly regretted what I said to Trish she came backstage I tried to apologise but she just told me to "save it" I sighed and went to mine and my brother's locker room great.

I can't believe what I just did everything goes wrong first my brother attacks me and doesn't tell me what is wrong then I tell Trish to stop helping me with the Matt situation and then she just ignores me but to be honest I do deserve a little bit of the harshness from her voice.

Matt's POV

I am with John Cena I explained some stuff about the problem and he is telling me that I should try harder to ask for forgivness but he supports me and so does Ashley and Lita since I told them about some of it just not about the notes and the threats.

???: how could he?

???: I know

John: what's wrong Ash?

Ashley: Jeff just had a go at Trish just because she wants to help Matt and Jeff to get them along 

Matt: oh

John: where is Trish now?

???: she is about to go into a match

I instantly ran to Trish's locker room.

???: who is it?

Matt: I need to talk to you can you open the door

Trish opened the door and she was shocked that it was me.

Trish: what is it?

Matt: I heard that Jeff had a go at you just because you were tryna help us 

Trish: I don't get why

Matt: he is just angry at what is going on he didn't mean any of that

Trish: if he is sorry then he should tell me but thanks for explaining that 

Matt: no problem also good luck in your match

Trish: thanks

Then she walked away and I walked away as well.
