Stay With Me (A Janoskian Fanfiction)

Chapter Six

Beau opened his mouth and wanted to say something. I knew this was the moment anything depended on. If he would like me like I liked him we could be happy. But if he didn’t… could I live with this? To know he is only playing with me?

He cleared his throat and wanted to start as I heard some girls squealing behind me. They said something in another language and all I could understand was “Beau Brook“ and “Janoskians“.

They came along and looked at Beau. He looked up at them, too, a bit shocked. “Can we have an autograph?“, the blonde one asked with an accent I’ve never heard before.

Beau looked at me and I was waiting for his reaction. He looked up at the blonde girl again and nodded.

Annoyed I stood up and walked away. Beau shouted for me but I ignored him. I didn’t even look back, I just wanted to go home. Of course he didn’t like me that way.

I entered the door and slammed it behind me. That moment Jess came into the room and looked at me worried. “What happened?“, she asked caring and came closer to hug me.

“Beau is stupid“, I moaned and released myself from the hug.

“Oh, don’t worry, everything will turn out right“, she said.

“How do you know?!“, I said, raising my voice. “You don’t have to care about that, you’re all loved up with Luke! You don’t know how it feels when someone plays with your feelings! So, just leave me alone, Jess!“

Shocked she looked at me and the rest of the girls came in, too. “What’s up?“, Tessa asked and raised her eyebrows at me.

I didn’t say a word, I just glared at Jess. I was so pissed right now. I knew I would regret it but that moment I didn’t really care. “She is angry at me because she isn’t lucky with Beau.“

Tessa looked at us in suprise. “What can she do for? It’s not her fault, is it?“

“But she doesn’t need to be all loved up next to me!“

“Calm down, Marlene“, Tessa said and pulled me away from Jess.

I glared at her. “This is none of your buisness.“ As soon as the words were out of my mouth I regreted them. I was overreacting, totally. It was non of their faults that Beau played with me. I just wanted to apologize as Tatjana hugged me. “It’s okay to be mad but maybe not at the other girls?“

I nodded, just as Jess left, followed by Tessa before I could apologize. But now I was too tired to run after her. I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. I shouldn’t have done this and I knew I should go and apologize now.

I looked up and found Kirsty and Tatjana smiling at me. “Wanna go out, love?“

I nodded and smiled slightly while I went up to my room. I picked out a white blouse and beige trousers. Then I put on a pair of black All Stars.

I checked if my make-up would still look okay and nodded satisfied. Outside I met Kirsty and Tatjana who wore both the pretty same. The only difference was that Kirsty’s shirt was rather black than blue, in comparinson to Tatjana’s.

We went out, grabbing our purses and went to a beach. It was already early evening so it wasn’t hot in our long trousers. We went around and my phone buzeed. I looked at the screen and sighed as I saw Beau smiling at me.

Tatjana followed my gaze and took my phone. “We won’t worry about any guys today, okay?“ She fished out her phone and switched it off. I did the same and we looked at Kirsty. She rolled her eyes smiling and switched off her phone, too.

We arrived at the beach and walked around as two boys came along. “Hey James! Hey Skip“, I greeted them and I smiled at Kirsty and Tatjana. They both blushed and I giggled. “I need to drink something. I’ll let you alone, ‘kay?“

They nodded and I went away to the beach’s hop to get some water. “What can I get you?“, a boy asked me. He smiled slightly at me.

“Err, just some water, please“, I said. I was expecting he worked here but he wentup to the counter to order it. In a few he came back with the water. “Here you go. By the way, my name is Austin. Who are you?“

I smiled and drank a bit of my water. “I’m Marlene. Nice to meet you, Austin.“

“Same. What is such a beautiful girl as you doing out here all alone?“

I blushed and giggled. “I was out with my friends but they… err, met someone.“

“Oh, and they left you alone? That’s not really nice.“

I shook my head to defend Kirsty and Tatjana. “No, no, I went away. I said I neede to get something to drink.“ I held up the water and smiled. “And what’re you doing all alone here? Or should I go away? Your girlfriend probably gets angry if I talk to you so much.“

He laughed and shook his head. “I have no girlfriend… yet.“ He smiled directly at my eyes and I had to admit he had some adorable eyes. They were green and sparkling bright. I had never seen any boys with green eyes so far. They were really great. His lashes were pretty long and dark and framed his eyes perfectly. “And what about you?“, he smirked. “Won’t your boyfriend get jealous about us talking?“

I laughed. “I have no boyfriends either.“

He shook his head. “I guess it’s true then…“

Confused I looked at him. “What’s true?“, I asked.

“That pretty girls always stay single. I never thought it was true… And I also thought you’d push me away instantly because I still can’t believe… and you’re really single?“

I nodded and blushed even more. This guy was too cute.

“Err, do you want to walk around on the beach?“

I smiled at him and thought about it – would it be bad if I spent a bit time with a lovely guy? Surely not. “Why not?“, I smiled.
