Chapter 25- Playing with a Woman is like Courting Death!

He was currently wearing a mask in order to prevent Zera seeing his face in case she managed to discover where Ace is.

Zera didn't respond. She only narrowed her beautiful eyes as she scanned her surroundings trying to pin point where the voice came.

"Lady, don't be overly cautious with me. I only mesmerized by your beauty that I can't help but want to take you as my wife." Ace continued to speak again as he tried his best to suppress his laugh, "I'm very sorry Zera, I'll just ask for forgiveness later on haha."

"I don't have time with you so can you stop using you power for me to be able to get out of here." She said indifferently.

Meanwhile, Ace was having a fun because he can see that Zera was starting to become angry.

"Don't you want to be my wife? I can do anything for you. Even those you want to be erased will be exterminated by me if you say so."

"I already said that I don't have time with you. I am currently finding my friend's corpse!" She said as if her friend's corpse might be eaten away by wild animals if she was a little late to find it.

This made Ace furious, 'You already treated me as a dead person? Let's see how I will toy with you.'

"Young lady, I'm afraid I might use force to make you come with me." After these words uttered, the space surrounding Zera became more wild as if it was trying to make an invisible wall preventing her to escape.

"You made me no choice then." She only uttered this words when she removed her necklace and suddenly disappeared out of nowhere.

Ace was startled by it, 'What happened? Did she escape?'

He was currently puzzle by what happened when Zera appeared in front of him with a dagger in her right hand.

She slashed it diagonally, she started at the left shoulder of Ace. Even Ace was caught off guard because this was a decisive move and had been done in a frightening speed. It was as if Zera was an expert in assassination!

After this slashed of Zera, it left a deep wound in the body of Ace. This wound is without a doubt will kill Ace under normal circumstances but the current Ace had eaten the so called legendary fruit which any part of his body regenerates if had been cut or wounded. It has still in effect right now so the wound made by Zera started to heal at a frightening speed which can be seen be nakedly by eyes.

This made Zera surprised under her mask but she began to attack again after this. She stabbed at the chest where the heart resides and she made a fist-sized hole on it.

This frightened Ace so he hurriedly removed his mask and revealed his pale face, "It's me Zera!"

She was again about to unleashed another slashed but it is in his neck right now. She was clearly thinking of beheading Ace so the latter don't have any other choice but to revealed himself now. He might die when this next slashed had beheaded him and it will be too late for him to regret it when the time comes.

When Zera saw that it was Ace, she stopped her attack but the dagger stopped right upon making a skin contact with his neck so it started to bled.

Ace finally began to be at ease as he felt his knees to be weaken so a directly sat on the ground. He was still in a daze as if he had been in trauma with this accident.

She finally put down her dagger and place it back to its scabbard. Zera look at Ace with complicated gaze. She clearly doesn't know what to say right now.

"I...I...I..I..I..I" Ace was stuttering right now. He's body right now was shaking heavily. This incident is much more traumatic to him than what happened to him with that armor or even that time when he fought Kouzlo and fled.

This can be considered to be one of the most traumatic for Ace. He clearly saw the two decisive and brutal attack of Zera. Each one of them is more than enough for him to die if not for the effect of the fruit he had eaten.

'Playing around with women is like courting death! I will try my best to avoid even teasing them in the future!' This traumatic experience of Ace became his lesson for not trying to trick women anymore.

Ace didn't even have the time right now to notice the abnormal strength of Zera. He was clearly overwhelmed by the situation.

Zera rise her hand in attempt to pat the shoulder of Ace but the latter fragile body suddenly got an overwhelming power and use it to tack a two meters' distance with the former.

This made Zera be in daze. She didn't hold back a while ago for she knows that the other party is very strong. She became decisive and ruthless in attacking which result for Ace to experience two deaths consecutively!

She removed her mask so her beautiful face was clearly shown. She only stared at Ace for a long while.

"I think I might have gone a little bit overboard a while ago." Zera lowered her head when she said these words. She was like an innocent girl who had been wronged, it was complexly the opposite appearance she had a while ago.

"No! I'm the one to blame for this. I shouldn't have played with you. And look at me. Didn't I am completely fine?" Ace hastily said as he bitterly smiled.

He was sweating a lot right now as he hastily took the blame. He was afraid that this young lady might turn back to that frightening woman.

"Are you sure you're okay?" She raised her head as she stared with a deep concern eyes to Ace.

"Of course, I am!" Ace nodded repeatedly.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

"But you look frightened and traumatized a while ago?" She looked in the eyes of Ace as if she was trying to see through him.

"Tha.. that.. that was ju---st..." Ace can't stop stuttering as he recalled the traumatic incident.

"See you look frightened now!" She feeling wronged right now.

"Hahaha. You're misunderstanding this right now." Ace thought of something which will help him in this situation.
