I drew the above picture. Here is a visual of Willa. Hope you are all enjoying the book!

"So... I'm sorry... what did he mean by JOINING YOU?!" Stanford yells.

I shrink back, and tears prick my eyes.

"I don't k-know... I s-sorry," I stutter, Dipper is by my side, hand on my back so I don't dart out of the room.

Stanford sighs and rubs his temples.

"It's fine... It's just we have dealt with him before—"

"And you're scared of what he will do to your family and the town?" I interrupt.

He nods, completely unshaken that I had just read his mind. Stanford's mind was a little bit crazy right now and it was giving me a headache. He was mostly thinking of past experiences with Bill and what he would do to him if he showed up. I let go of his mind and come back to the real world.

"Do you know what he wants?" Dipper asks quietly.

"I-I think h-he wants the journals... he knows that they resurfaced after you threw them in the bottomless pit..."

"How?! He was gone!!" Stanford bursts out.

I shake my head, "He was never really gone... stopped, yes, but never fully gone... I was there the entire time in the dreamscape, watching everything."

"And you didn't bother to help stop your brother?"

"I did! I tried to stop him several times, but he..."

"What did he do, Willa?" Dipper asks, looking at me with concern.

"He just tied me back in my room and left me there... watching the destruction on a town I love... It was the worst torture he had ever given me..." I clamp my hand over my mouth.

Dipper and Stanford stare at me, obviously wanting an explanation.

"I... I shouldn't have said that. I'm sorry..."

"Willa... what did he do?" Dipper inquires, his tone soft.

"A lot of things, but that doesn't matter now. It is all in the past!" I squeak.

"Is it though?" Stanford asks.

"...Yes...?"

They both sigh and Dipper hugs me. I bury my head in his shoulder and I try not to cry. I know that demon tears are way more acidic than human tears.

(Dipper's POV)

I stroke Willa's hair a little. It felt weird, no girl, other than Mabel, really found me comforting. They all thought I was weird, although... Willa was taller than me by a little bit, so it made it awkward. Trying to sound supportive I said, "there there". It backfired, that made her laugh, which in turn, made her cry. Her tears felt hot and they soaked through my shirt. Grunkle Ford came over and tapped her shoulder. Willa looked up and sat to where Grunkle Ford was pointing.

(Ford's POV)

I mentally sigh, this was bad. We have one dream demon, and we could possibly be expecting another... I have to get more answers. My eyes scan the humble demon in the chair, she is wiping her tears.

"Willa..." I start, "It is okay to tell us anything."

"I-I can't! He will just be madder. I will be in enough trouble as it is," she shakes her head, and then just starts shaking.

"Willa..." I sigh again, "He can't hurt you anymore."

Dipper clears his throat.

"Yes, Dipper?"
