Chapter 10 The Fight

3rd Person POV
As the group ran out of the Enchanted Eden they approached one of the Grand Aurora's many Chinese cities.  When they approach Jack they see him standing in front of a sign,
"Hey buddy, whatcha readin?"  Oliver called knowing that he would notice them, Jack turns around with a frustrated look on his face,
"Aww... little Jackie a little mady?"  Conner teased, this made Oliver sock him
"What're you mad about?" Ace asked,
"I can't see my forehead" Jack responded, this made Conner and Oliver stop eye glaring and start laughing.  At one point Oliver almost dropped Olivia. 
"Pfff!!!  And here I thought you were being smart" Conner laughed, this triggered Jack to throw a punch.  Punching with all his might, but Conner caught his punch with his hand with ease,
"Now listen here, If you're gonna punch me, then you'd better be faster than that" he explained and let go of Jack's hand go.
"He's so cool" Ace thought, Zachary sighed knowing that Conner hasn't changed one bit. "Hey what does that sign say?" Ace pointed out after admiring Conner. All of them looked at a blue sign with Chinese letters.
"I have no I idea what it means, anyone speak Mandarin?" Jack struggled,
"Nope, but the only one who can is... Holy Crap! I knew she'd be here" Oliver shouted while putting his hands on the side of his head and accidentally dropped Olivia along the way. Luckily, Doctor Ace was swift and caught Olivia in time, not damaging any bones.
"How about I carry her from now on Master Oliver?" Doctor Ace suggested,
"Sure, be my guest" Oliver smiled.
"Hey doc! Did Lena build a language translator or did she just waste her ti-" Conner said but was cut off by Zachary pressing a dull knife against his throat,
"Don't talk about my sister! She's the only reason why all of us are still alive!" Zachary commanded.
"Guys! Come on! Knock it off!" Ace demanded about to do something, but Conner and Zachary both gave them scary glares. This made both Jack and Ace stop and shiver down to the core.
"Just let it happen" Oliver whispered, Ace looked at Oliver and nodded and proceeded to watch like the rest of the group,
"Oh I'm SoOo Scared! What're you gonna do tough guy? Call your twin sister?" Conner teased.
"Conner that is way over the line man!" Oliver intervened, standing in between them, forgetting what he said earlier.
"Look! I don't know what happened to you during these years, but the old Conner would NEVER talk about someone's dead family member, Especially one of our own!" He added,
"It's fine." Zachary said, looking down at the ground with black little energy coming out of his sleeves.
"Aw... is Zachary about to cry?" Conner continued, leaning down with hands on his knees.
"Conner that's enough!" Oliver rebuked, placing his hand in front of Conner and Zachary. Just then Zachary looked up with black tears running down his face and crimson eyes.
"Oh no" Conner gulped before Zachary pounced on him and had his body get encased with a large black see through snake. Conner began screaming in pain while Zachary just hissed like a snake.
"Someone get me out of here already!" Conner gasped, Jack, Ace, and Oliver rushed in trying to free Conner but he didn't even budge. Zachary opened his mouth and hissed to make them go away, releasing a very loud and powerful screech, but none of them left. This gave Doctor Ace enough time to scan Zachary to see what was going on with him. When he was finished, he said,
"N-No, it can't be!" Sophia looked at Doctor Ace,
"What is it doc? What's wrong with the old Blebbo?" Doctor Ace turned to Sophia and painfully answered,
"It's his revamp, I've never seen it act like this before, I knew he was granted with the power of the snake, but this! This is-" but was cut by Zachary in his new, dark, feminine snake like voice,
"That's right doc, although I may have activated my revamp, I am not Zachary, I am The Shadow Serpent" and he began to put more pressure on Conner. Now Conner is practically about to be crushed to a pulp. But just before Conner was about to break, Ace used his mind powers to send a mind spasm wave into Zachary's head.
"GAAAAHH!!!" He screamed in pain, and let go of Conner. Conner gracefully got out in the nick of time. Soon after though, Zachary, or The Shadow Serpent also got up, Black energy like the Grim Shadow's pulsing around his body on the inside of the serpent. Then, The Shadow Serpent started moving his head like a praying mantis, and hissed his tongue like a cobra.  He exploded the snake form like a shockwave, knocking everyone back and floated back down to the ground. Only to make a dark light-absorbing dagger appear in his hand, and was about to stab Conner in the throat, but then stopped. Conner stared into Zachary's eyes and noticed that his eyes were back to normal. His tear marks were gone, and he didn't have black energy coursing through his body now. Conner looked at Zachary's arm, and saw that one of his arms had stopped the one with the dagger.
"N-No... we are not like that. I cannot kill one of my own" Zachary panted and moved his arm back. Next thing that happens, he appears into a new room. It was a very dark blood seeping color, with a gradient black rising and lowering like a fire in a fireplace. Then the Shadow Serpent came out of Zachary's body, revealing a giant statue sized black cobra with black energy exploding off like the sun's rays, and bright shiny red eyes.
"Why do you desecrate me you Hybrid?" It asked,
"Because I am not like you, I am not going to kill my family in exchange for power" Zachary responded,
"Such humility, for such a... Wicked race" It insulted as it hissed at Zachary,
"I hope you don't intend to deceive my family into believing you" Zachary replied raising an eyebrow. 
"Heh... it seems he did choose the right person" It muttered, Zachary tilts his head while Sophia's voice echoed throughout the room,
"Zachary, love~ what are you doing standing there doing nothing?" Zachary looks around but sees nothing but the dark blood red around him.  Then he looks back at the Shadow Serpent,
"You know, I like you... how's about we make a deal, Partner" The Shadow Serpent hissed,
"I'm listening" Zachary leaned in,
"I'll help you whenever you need me, but..."
"But what?" Zachary stuttered,
"But you'll need to get stronger, my body can only provide so much" It stated, Zachary smiled,
"You got yourself a deal" Zachary stuck out his hand, the serpent just looked at the hand and made it's red eyes glow.
"The deal shall now be sacred" The Shadow Serpent declared and sent Zachary back to reality.  Zachary looked around, and noticed that everything was back to normal.  Oliver walked up to him and said,
"Hey buddy, glad you're back, Conner here has something to say" Zachary Smirked as Conner walked up,
"Zachary Dynamic, I am extremely sorry for upsetting you, please forgive me and accept my token of affection" he apologized while avoiding awkward eye contact, Zachary started to laugh,
"Hahahaha!!!  Aw, Come here buddy" he smiled and pulled Conner into a hug.  Conner awkwardly hugged back, which made everyone laugh.  Olivia slowly started to wake up,
"What's with all the noise?" She asked, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at her,
"Uh... what?"
