I woke up around 6:35 am, feeling the suns rays pour onto me through the window. I love to feel that morning sun run over my skin. I lazily dragged myself out my bed, heading to my bathroom to officially wake myself up by taking a hot, steamy shower. Donning a neon yellow warning sign crop top to compliment this cute little black mini skirt that had a slit up the side, I confirmed my satisfaction in the mirror. Man the things I go through for clothing sometimes... I never really bought clothes for relaxing I recognized, mostly for going out somewhere. While applying my makeup, my thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. My oh my, it's almost nine already? How does my time fly when getting ready?

Limana. I knew she was at the door. We would go out every weekend. Same time. Same place. It was our absolute favorite. I glanced at the clock one more time. It was 10:00 am. I opened the door to see Limana grinning widely."I'm so glad you refused that guy! He can be quite persistent at times. But when you give in, he works really fast." She said matter-of-factly. I wondered why she was so knowledgeable about Vice. Maybe it's nothing to worry about. Probably not going to pursue him anyways...

We stopped by our favorite café, and ordered the usual. I got a strawberry and orange fruit tart, topped with a spicy chocolate sauce. I ate this with a cup of black coffee with crème. They always did that fancy design on top like a cappuccino. Limana got a slice of blackberry pie with citrus green tea. We came here every weekend, so the workers knew us well.

"So... why are you so against me talking to Vice. I mean, I know he's bad, but I'm not trying to marry the guy. Besides... one can hardly control who they're attracted too." I asked out the blue. I mean the curiosity was really eating at me towards her extreme distaste for him. No ones ever THAT bad to Limana. She looked at me blankly at my sudden input on things. Then she sighed and stared at her pie.

She took a forkful and said, "I'm too late aren't I? You've bit the apple of curiosity waaay before I even said anything. I mean I can't blame you. He is pretty hot. But the problem is, he knows it... and he... and he uses it to his advantage." She then looked at me directly in the eye.

"Maybe he'll be careful, but that's because he doesn't do the whole loose strings thing. No children either. I just don't want you to have to go through dealing with that, because in the end, he will get tired of you. I mean you should've seen yourself when...he... dumped you. Plus I know you want to have pure blood children... I mean... You took your last breakup pretty hard... even though I know he was your ex fiancé. It's painful to see you that way though. I just don't want that to happen again. It's unbearable." She said forlornly reluctant. If I didn't know any better, I would have believed she would start crying with the statements she made.

However, she opted to eating her pie when she was through talking, but in much smaller and slower bites. Pushing her food around here and there sometimes. Watching her play with her food due to the conversation shift was setting a bad taste to our traditional brunch.

I looked back down at my Fruit tart. It was cooked extra hot just the way I liked it. We knew this cafe favored fire people types. So they always treated us of high priority. As I watched the steam rise, I tapped my fork on the table anxiously. I glanced up at Limana. "I'll handle it." I said in a whisper tone. This is when she finally relaxed a little, and smiled. She acted normally again when talking about baseless topic conversations to past our time.

After we were finished eating, and talking about little things, we left to go shopping. We always enjoyed ourselves when we shopped. We'd catch up on gossip and what not. We picked out party clothes for the night, because every night was a potential day of having fun nonstop. That's the way we loved to live... full of action and fun. But of course a girl has her needs sometimes, which Limana was more fortunate in scoring with.
