When we arrived, I glanced up at a sky rise apartment complex. When we were in the elevator, he pressed for the 30th floor, the top floor. He pressed in a code shortly after, and then the elevator proceeded. When the elevator opened, a cold breeze rushed passed me and he walked aimlessly. "I own the whole floor, so make yourself comfortable." He said happily. He disappeared into one room, as I aimlessly walked around the whole floor. I took notice that "the whole floor" was composed of four lofts interconnected with each other. Very interesting set up indeed.

"How do you afford a place like this?" I absently wondered as I took in the place around me. The decoration was intensely immaculate and monochromatic. Decorated in many shades of white, with a splash of blues, blacks and browns, and a string of black and grey, it was strangely appealing to the eye. But it didn't seem like a home... more like the model home no one actually lives in. All the "assumed" essentials there, but weirdly out of place. Eerily like an asylum. "I gamble here and there." He stayed lightly, before disappearing somewhere.

An hour later, he found me while only wearing boxers, smelling refreshingly minty fresh. "Are you sure you wanna wait?" he said teasingly. I rolled my eyes, and pushed past him to go to the bathroom. "Get dressed already," I shouted.  Weirdly enough, I didn't care for the place. It felt as though nobody belonged here. Silence followed for another two minutes, and then I heard a knock on the bathroom door. I opened it cautiously, seeing Vice in another flattering outfit that consisted of dark blue jeans and a pale blue button down short sleeve patterned shirt.. "I'm ready." He said coolly. He took my hand once again, and led me back to the elevator. When we reached the lobby level, the doors opened revealing a girl with matching features as Vice.

"Fray." Vice said with wholehearted disgust.

The girl smiled at Vice, then looked at me. Her smile disappeared from her face. Instead of the icy blue eyes Vice had, her pupils were all white which blended into her eyeball. "You're doing a fire girl again? Come on, Vice. Didn't you already go through this faze?" she said irritably. Vice's face turned into a sneer. "Get out of here Fray." he said with a tone so icy, you could feel the bite. Realization dawned on her face. "O.M.G.! You brought her home! To your actual apartment! You seriously want to get serious with a fire girl? She's hideous!" She spat. I lunged for her throat, but Vice stopped me midway. Her expression didn't change. "Come on Vice. Wouldn't you rather be with me? Not this hothead." she said while batting her eyelashes. Was this girl deranged? I didn't get what was going on here.

Vice made no movement in saying he was going with her, then her face twisted in anger. "Fine! Stay with that pissy yellow, Fire girl. See if I care. But don't blame me if something bad happens!" she said this with hatred in her tone. Then she ran off. Vice grabbed my hand and started walking. My cell rang twice, and I answered without seeing who it was. "Where the hell Are you?!" screamed the familiar female voice. Oh crap. I forgot about Limana. Time was getting ahead of me. "I know seeing him was a bit much... and you even cried over it. But now you belong to me!" I could hear her whining loud and clear. "You're with him aren't you? Tears are a strong point for him! It shows vulnerability! *sigh*, I don't care if you bring him with you; just get your ass down here! Now!" her screaming echoed in the phone.

I went straight to the café, with Vice coming along, interested where the day may lead him next. When we arrived, i turned to him so I could give the quick one two of what was going on. "Limana has been waiting, so don't be rude. This is a sacred place for us, so please be nice." I said. Lowly I heard him mutter, "Limana? Where have I heard that name before..." but there was no time to question him on what he meant. We entered the café, and Vice got a table behind Limana. That way he could be able to face me. Limana came to me with her hair on fire, pure blue. It would actually ignite on fire when she was really mad. She looked at Vice disgusted, then back at me. Her hair began to settle the more we fell into our normal conversation.

We ordered the usual. Vice was being waited on by a cute, flirty waitress. But he paid her no mind. All he did was order what I ordered. The waitress however would always go back in a huff. He winked at me while Limana stared at me helplessly. She then looked away; "So..." she started. But before she continued, I cut her off. "Don't even start. I already...talked to him." I said in distaste, knowing full well she knew whom I was referring to. Limana's eyes widened at this statement. "Well... did he tell you he wants you back?" she said astonished. I looked at her as if she grew two heads.

"He has a kid Limana." I said crossly. "Well at least it's not a hybrid!" she said as she glanced behind her. "Limana, Stop! Me and him... we are over! End of story!" I said outraged by her statement. "I can't believe you're doing this right now! Can you please grow up! Sometimes things don't turn out the way you expected." I said annoyed. She rolled her eyes. I can't believe her right now. "Okay okay I hear you. I just don't like him, and as soon as he is done with you, you'll be back to step one." She said contritely. "And... I'm sorry I yelled at you..." I muttered. "No no. I deserved it. Besides, no one can get my Firen heated the way I can." She said with a wink.

We noticed how people were staring, and we shouted what simultaneously. When everyone tuned back to their business, we laughed quietly. Vice snickered a little himself at his own table. All of a sudden, I heard a thump. I looked over to Vice who had collapsed on the floor. He was holding his hand over his mouth and nose like he couldn't breathe. I wonder what's wro-
Before I could finish the thought, everything went black.
