Firen landed fluidly on the ground moments later, leading me to believe Vadim did some extra shit his ass had no business doing. I swear, no matter what you do, siblings just will not allow you to be great. I had no time right ponder, because I instantly spotted a guard who noticed Firen hop down shortly after me. The guard turned back for the door when he noticed I was not apprehending the clear individual who didn't need to be here, preparing to alert others of our arrival. Firen threw a wave of fire towards his feet while I stomped his chest in with quickness, then following close behind with a jump kick to his jaw. Firen then burned his cranium to a crisp after I froze his mouth over, to prevent any screams traveling too far. We inconspicuously treaded down the corridors of the familiar manor, keeping our eyes peeled for any on-comers. This place had so many dreadful memories I never thought I'd relive after banishment. I already knew where my father would reside. Once I ended the root of evil itself, this whole fiasco would settle for sure. I just knew it, but for some reason, there was something I couldn't pinpoint brewing an unknowing greater problem that lay ahead. I just wasn't sure what. But he was, and always has been the puppeteer of this particular shit show.
Nothing would ever really stop until his heart cease to beat. I had to make sure of that. Firen had slowed down to a stop behind me, causing me to pause and shoot her a questioning look. "What's the hold up?" I whispered lowly, wondering why her sudden change of heart was coming at such a bad time. I know this girl has killed before, so it couldn't be cold feet. Hell, we just recently discovered the girl even went through a period of cannibalism, that to which Frigidus continuously reminds me that was a part of Kelekona's nature. While I'm sure majority of this manor's people had come to accompany my dearly beloved sister, I had to be careful not to catch any lingering attention to us. Firen seem to still be having an internal discussion with herself before slowly shifting into her Kelekona, her striking red eyes taking dominance. "Vice..." she whispered. "I'm afraid Firen is lacking trust in you... she and I both have some issues of trust lingering at the moment." Kelekona admitted. What Firen couldn't tell me this herself? What is going on here? What did Vadim tell her? "She knows about that girl..." Kelekona continued. Girl? What girl? I haven't been with Fray since... "For the love of... I'm talking about her friend. The blue-haired minx." She spoke softly disgruntled, most probably lurking in my thoughts. But I was sure we had crossed that bridge already. It wasn't as serious as she was really thinking it was... "Look I haven't touched that girl in who knows how long now, she's a distant memory as far as I was concerned." I hurriedly explained. I mean really, this is a hell of a time to discuss this. We really did not have time for this. "Clearly you're still unaware... we know of her being purchased." Kelekona spat the last word in disdain, clearly showing dislike for our monetary ways. Wait did she say... "Firen doesn't know how to handle this information she was just given. Partly wants to rip your hair out for entertaining such a world, leaving parts of your scalp still attached. But also curious to understand why she never heard word of this life from the one she called her friend." Kelekona reasoned. Her voice was eerily disconnected, as though she merely didn't care of the situation, yet that had me believing there was another issue lurking underneath. One that had more so to do with Frigidus. "I must speak to Frigidus before we go any further." Kelekona demanded not really giving choice to her request.
Okay this quarreling thing was seriously getting outplayed. I just feel like I'm always fussing over something with this girl. Was I not standing here ready to risk it all for this woman? Granted this daddy of mine had this a long time coming, I was willing to go through so much length for this chick I hardly even knew. I felt as though I knew her enough, but every time she found something out about me, all hell would break loose, and this double standard was seriously starting to wear down on me. I mean, yeah I may have dabbled in Fray from time to time, but I mean, she had an ex too that she clearly didn't know how to cut loose with her family's weird demand of a flaming baby. "Okay. I see what's going on here... well just for records sake, I never even liked our family's handling in that sex trafficking shit, but I mean this is a different world. And I hope Firen is heading this, because I've been holding my tongue about this for a while now. Our culture doesn't exactly compose of amusement park rides, and mommies cradling their young with false security. This was the Dominirovatʹ Ubiĭtsy clan. A rightfully feared group of individuals who'd stop at nothing for complete and utter control over any power, which by the way, may have involved some dirty shit like trafficking sometimes. But whose more at fault? The seller, or the buyers who make that market a niche to begin with? Sure. I got soft on her. She was something new, and I was always fucking alone. She kept me company, and even managed to make me smile sometimes, which back then by the way wasn't exactly the playful character I am today. After... after what they did to Limana, Vadim took over that sector as a means to hopefully have some fucking discipline. Because in case you haven't noticed, their only version of discipline in this place is making sure everyone in this hellhole suffers in the most gruesome of ways." I raged, unable to contain my emotions as they bubbled to the surface.
