Imagine: This ones just a quick little imagine written by the Amazing Grace (hehe America y'all) in which the reader is an actress on Supernatural and accidentally gets punched in the face by a stuntman.
Age: she didn't write an age but imma guess 16 🤷♀️.
_*_You looked down for the briefest of seconds, just to check for the third time and make sure that you were correctly aligned with the blaring red tape on the ground. There was another line of green just a hair of a inch over the length of an arm away from your mark. A mouthful of a distance, but an accurate and surprisingly important description. Your feet were just a fraction over where the needed to be, but that's all it took, and you had no time to move out of the way.
The male force who was supposed to fight you, a beast with the same build as Jared, was already swinging his fist, intending to let it glide smoothly right in front of your face and out of the tight camera angle like you've practiced and performed a thousand times before.
His brain didn't register the skin-to-skin contact till after you dropped to the ground with a resounding thud, a small grunt of both pain and surprise escaping your lips.
Nobody moved at first.
People were always falling around on this show, and they waited for you to jump up with your signature grin like they always did; waited for you to smile and ask if they needed another take like they always did, but, unsurprisingly, Jensen and Jared were the first to notice that something was wrong.
Jared stared intently at the stunt double, Jensen mirroring his expression as the two tried to figure out why he wasn't moving; why he had this look of absolute fear on his fear.
Neither of their brains wanted to form the thought that maybe you had actually gotten punched right in front of him, but Jared's legs were moving as soon as the connection was made. Jensen was right behind him, calling for a medic as realization dawned on the rest of the crew and they began to shift in their spots, concerned but not daring to move toward you when Jensen and Jared were already there.
You were coming around when you felt the rumble in the ground from where their knees hit beside you.
"(Y/N) sweetheart, can you hear me?" Jensen was gently stroking the back of your head, trying to check for blood where it made contact with the cement ground behind it.
Jared, seated on his knees, had slowly hoisted your somewhat limp body into his arms, watching as your eyes slowly blinked away the blurriness that had resided in them. You first noticed the long shaggy hair that was grazing against your cheek and nose, leaving pins and needles to shudder through your body. The jolting sensation left you more aware of your surroundings, and you finally heard the medic that was trying to capture your fleeting attention.
"(Y/N)? Can you hear me?" The nurse was shining a small beam of light into your eyes, moving it back and forth. You responded to the light, your eyes lazily following it. You nodded your head, and let a smile crack through the daze that was covering you like a unwanted blanket on a hot summer day.
"So that's what getting punched feels like." Your head was slowly clearing and you were able to distinguish Jensen and Jared's relieved chuckles through the ringing in your ears, your mind almost back to full focus. Jensen and Jared each took stand at your sides and helped you up. You felt steady and were able to stand by yourself, shaking your head a little. Both men at your sides were still smiling at your little remark as Misha made his over to check and make sure you were okay for himself.
"That was quite the hit you took (Y/N), you okay?" He asked, his fingers barely grazing the tender part of your throbbing forehead.
You swatted his hand away light-heartedly, unwilling to admit that you were in any pain. "Oh yeah, I'm fine. I was just a bit dazed at first--" You nodded, clearing your throat-- "Just a bit of pain in my jaw, that's all."
"Good, now go tell the very large stunt double that's crying in the corner that." He pointed to the far back corner, where Mark, the stunt double, was leaning with his head in his hands. You walked over as soon as you saw his distress, but not before Jensen and Jared did one last glance at you to make sure you were truly okay.
"Mark?" His head jerked up when he heard your voice and his watery eyes made you want to laugh and cry at the same time.
"I am so sorry, (Y/N)! Are you okay? I should have checked the marks before swinging and-"
"Hey, it's okay." You said, putting your hand on his shoulder, but he just kept shaking his head, and trying to apologize for something that he had no control over. You managed to chuckle a little, hoping it would help him see you were uninjured. "Really, Mark. It's okay. I'm fine--" He finally stood up and saw the smile filled with reassurance that you were sending him--" Accidents happen. It was my fault anyway, I wasn't on my mark correctly."
"I have a daughter about your age, and all I could imagine was hitting her, and it scared the hell out of me."
You smiled warmly. "Why don't you go and call her? I think it will make you feel a lot better." Mark smiled and wrapped you up in a quick, almost hesitant hug before excusing himself to call his daughter. You watched for a second before turning back to the group behind you.
"Everything good?" Jensen asked. He wrapped an arm around your shoulder, letting Jared do the same.
You grinned, not even phased when a spike of pain shot through your nose at the muscle movement. "Yep! I don't go down that easy, but I'd really rather not do a retake if it's all the same to you."
