Imagine: Sam and Dean get mad at you for trying to sneak out onto their hunt, so you run away.
Age: 7
"Sam, please can I come? I'll be good!" You tugged on the bottom of Sam's shirt, looking up him him with the best e/c puppy eyes you could muster. Sam had to avoid your gaze, because they were pretty damn good.
"I'm sorry, baby, you can't. We won't be gone long." He said as he shrugged on his jacket. You stuck out your lip as Dean walked up beside Sam.
"We'll bring you pie." He tempted, raising his eyebrows and smiling knowingly. You crossed your arms, brows stitched together angrily.
"I don't want pie. I want to come with you." You stated, stomping your foot. Now don't read this the wrong way, you were not a brat, and you did not pitch fits, but you were passionate about what you wanted, at least until you were absolutely positive you couldn't persuade your brothers to bend to your will.
"I'm sorry, kid, this is grown up stuff. Now c'mere." Dean reached forward and slipped his hands under your arms, scooping you up and carrying you to the bed.
He placed you under the covers and turned on the tv, Scooby Doo flashing across the screen as he tucked the blankets around your legs.
"Be good, please? I know you don't like staying here, and I'm sorry, but can you just watch Scooby and be good? For me?" He asked, and you looked away.
"Sure. Fine." You muttered, crossing your arms. He chuckled at your attempt to look angry and kissed your forehead, Sam replicating his actions, and together the two brothers walked out of the room.
As soon as the wooden door creamed its way shut you were springing out of the bed and toward the window, peeking out to watch them go.
You expected them to head for the Impala, but when they swerved to head for the vending machines, or at least in that general direction, you leaped at the chance and opened the door, running and trying to put on your jacket at the same time as you opened the backdoor of the Impala and clambered inside.
You ducked down into the floorboard, curling into a ball behind Sam's seat, and waited for the brothers.
It took a moment, a moment of you trying to keep your breathing even and quiet, but eventually the doors swung open and the car dipped, first on one side, then the other as your brothers ducked inside.
"Are you sure she'll be alright?" Dean's voice rumbled from the front seat, and you felt a surge of triumph when you realized they were oblivious to you behind them.
"She'll be fine, Dean. She always is. She's got Scooby Doo, the door's locked, 'Do Not Disturb' sign's up, she's okay." Sam reassured his worried brother as he started up the car and you felt it lurch backward out of its parking spot.
"I feel bad, leaving her." Dean mumbled as he pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road. You had to stifle a laugh in the backseat.
You didn't leave me.
