IMPORTANT A/N: Even if this imagine wasn't requested by someone, I'd still probably write it to show my support for the LGBT community. However, I'd like to preface this by saying that I myself am not lesbian or bisexual, and therefore do not know if there are any mannerisms of LGBT community members that are unique or different or anything. If I write something that offends any of my LGBT readers, I'd like you to know that I'm am so sorry and it was not my intention. That being said, enjoy the imagine!
Imagine: You fall in love with Ruby and stop your brothers from killing her.
Age: 21
Also yeah you're a little order than I normally write but a sixteen year old can't really love someone who's like twenty four that's just weird to me.
Warnings: Homosexuality (duh) and slight mentions of sexual content. Maybe some bad words idk.
----------------------------------
Clack. My head whipped up at the sound as I watched the lock on the door to the motel room slowly come unlatched from the inside. I was alone, watching stupid TV shows while I waited for my brothers to return from talking to the authorities about the case we were on, and now I feared they'd have to come home to find me stained with someone else's blood. Or maybe my own.
My hand found my gun, resting on my bedside table, and silently pulled it to my chest as I slid off the bed and onto one knee, peering over the covers at the door as I slowly creaked open. I readied my gun and aimed it true for the stranger's head.
Ruby stepped into the room and spotted me immediately, a sly smile crossing her features as she closed the door behind her, unphased by my gun. "Woah, easy there killer, it's just me."
I sighed and clicked the safety on my weapon, tossing it onto the bed. "Dammit, Ruby, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that? What if I had shot you?"
"You got demon killing bullets in that gun?" I shook my head-- "Then it may sting, but it wouldn't kill me."
"Why didn't you just zap in?"
"I like seeing you when you think you're gonna fight. It's hot." She said, a sly smile on her face.
I rolled my eyes, standing up and making my way to her, my arms snaking around her waist and grasping her rear. "What are you doing here?"
She hummed softly and kissed me, her lips tender and sweet and hungry. "I was bored, you were alone, seemed like a great time to pop in."
"A perfect time." I murmured into her mouth before falling silent and kissing her deeply, our lips like puzzle pieces as they shifted and slid together. Her arms came up around my neck and her hands tangled in my hair as I gripped her waist, my hand pressed to the small of her back. One of her hands pulled my hair just hard enough to tilt my head back, deepening the kiss as I let out an involuntary groan.
She began pushing me backward until I was sitting on the bed, and soon she was straddling me, legs locked over my lap as she bit my lip gently.
Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to go any further.
"What the fuck is going on here? Ruby?" Ruby leaped off of me, spinning, and my eyes locked on Dean, standing in the doorway with his hand still on the knob. Sam stood behind him, and each sported shocked and angered faces as I stood up.
I wiped at my mouth with the back of my hand and cleared my throat, shifting closer to Ruby protectively. "Hey fellas-- you're home earlier than I expected--"
They didn't even bother to listen to me. Sam pushed in front of his brother, his demon knife leaving his belt with an audible ring as he raised it over his hand and leaped for the woman.
"Sam no!" I jumped in front of my brother and he barely had time to rear back and keep the knife from entering my skull.
I'd never seen either brother look more whole-heartedly astonished as Dean stepped further into the room. "Y/n, are you protecting her?"
I sighed, looking back at Ruby. She raised an eyebrow, asking a silent question. I nodded and she took the memo, flashing away before my eyes as I turned back to Sam and Dean. "Guys, please, before you do anything, please just let me explain."
"Explain? Y/n you were making out with a demon, you've got a lot of things to explain." Sam said, sheathing his knife and crossing his arms.
My nostrils flared angrily as I looked away a moment. "Alright, just don't interrupt me as soon as I speak--" I cut them both a knowing glare and they rolled their eyes-- "Look, Ruby hasn't killed anyone in months. In fact, she's started exorcising demons, saving the people they possessed and taking them home, which is more than we can say from time to time. She can't help who she is, but she can help what she does. She's trying."
Sam and Dean were silent as they glanced at the spot behind me where Ruby had once been, deep in thought.
"You don't have to like her," I murmured, my head dropping toward the floor, "I'm just asking you not to kill her."
Sam and Dean looked at each other, Sam giving a sharp exhale through his nose.
"Okay," Dean said eventually, "I don't like it, but if she makes you happy, I'll pretend she doesn't exist."
I let out the breath I didn't know I'd been holding and hugged him, burying my nose in his shoulder. "Thank you."
"Hey, we're not done with this conversation," Sam pulled me away from Dean, holding my shoulder with a smile playing at his lips, his mood lightened, "When were you planning on telling us that you swing the other way?"
"Yeah," Dean agreed with his brother, smirking, "Were you just gonna let us believe you were straight forever?"
I chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of my neck. "Yeah, about that. I promise I was going to tell you, I just didn't know how you were going to react."
"What," Dean said, "Did you think we wouldn't be okay with it?"
"You really think, of all things, our fucked up family would be homophobic?" Sam said, playfulness in his voice.
I looked up at them, a hopeful glow in my eyes. "So, you're okay with it?"
Dean chuckled and wrapped his arm around my shoulders, kissing the side of my head. "Of course, babe. We just wish you would've told us sooner. You can't help who you love."
Sam patted my cheek affectionately before taking off his coat. "Y/n, we're a family. We support each other. Always."
"Now--" Dean released me and looked at me with a wink-- "Since it was us who went and talked to the warden, you get to go get dinner," He handed me the key to the room with an innocent smile, "Biggerson's is just around the block."
I rolled my eyes, pulling my leather jacket off the coat rack and tossing it over my shoulders. "Yeah, yeah, I'm going."
I left the room and began to pad down the sidewalk, eyes to the ground in the settling dark.
I'd barely made it a hundred yards away from the motel before a silhouette stepped out of the shadows and into my path.
"Hey there, gorgeous," Ruby said, that same stupid smirk on her face, "Where were we?"
