"I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO GO," Jin tells me. "Our second home's destroyed. We've got no choice. Maybe you can consider Omega's suggestion."

"She wasn't suggesting," I say, "but she was pleading for it. I'm not someone who could fall for a person's words—a person I've only met now." I look out the window as I try to keep myself calm. "Seoul from here takes hours. Or worse days. She's attempting the impossible."

"What if she had something to tell why? We gotta know first."

I sigh, softening my voice. "I just don't seem to trust her."

"But she helped us."

"Right, and when she came look what just happened."

"Joon, you're overreacting—"

"I'm not," I huff yet I keep my voice down. "Look, I know we're lucky to have her help us but—why now? Why would she pop out of nowhere in a time we don't expect?"

"Didn't Yoongi say she's a friend of him?"

I pause, my eyes widening after turning back to him. "What?"

Jin shrugs. "I guess he didn't tell you. I ran into him last night. On my way to the toilet when he appears out of nowhere—I don't know. I was too focused on getting to the toilet—" he stops as if he suddenly realized what he just said, clearing his throat. "Sorry. So I bumped into him, and of course, you know him, being that mannequin guy."

I don't laugh at his joke, not sure if I should take it literally. "So, he told you he and Omega are friends?"

"Something like that," he says. "I mean, what else could it be? His past love life? Man, I'm too old to even have one."

"So they are friends . . ." My eyes slowly then stare into space. Maybe I'm just being a paranoid. Then if they are friends, I guess it makes sense why she helped us back then. Something comes into my mind. What if . . . what if she's—

I hear him sigh again. "Come on, why don't you go to sleep? I'll drive till I find a station. The others are probably asleep too."

"What time is it?"

He checks his watch. "It's five-thirty."

"Sun's 'bout to come up then."

"You need a nap."

"I'm afraid I don't need one," I frown at him, "because if I did take a nap, no one knows if you could even survive a zombie ambush."

Before he could even curse at me, I shut him up and tell him to keep his eyes on the road. My eyes look up to the mirror, seeing the first two persons behind me with their eyes closed, which surprises me.

Taehyung has his head rested on Omega's shoulder. It's not that it's strange, but it seems like Taehyung feels comfortable with it.

Or maybe I'm just too assuming.

I hear a few clicks, and I realize Jin has turned the stereo on. Music starts to play, filling the silent van with melodic sounds.

This is love, this is love~

Through my peripheral vision, I can figure a smile from Jin. Setting my thoughts aside, I set my eyes on the dark road ahead of us.

"UGH." My head aches as I start to regain consciousness, even my entire body. Soon my vision clears and I recognize where I am now, but the place outside gives me confusion. I try sitting up. I groan, my back quickly sending me a wave of pain, eventually having myself leaned against the backseat's foot yet it took long before I'd even manage to.
