CHAPTER 18

*CRAIG'S POV*

What's taking them so long?

I am waiting for an hour now here in my car, listening to my stereo but quickly turned it off when the shuffle played Boyfriend by J.B. The truth is I'm a little pissed off of what Ash did back at the gym, I'm a pinch close to having Zoe by myself and he ruined it.

I ruffled my hair irately and put my elbow on the open car window, biting my nails feeling tensed. I really hate what happened a while ago.

"Surprised?" It's Sasha, walking to my car and holding a box full of card board made snow flakes.

I scoffed, "I bet you too. Your ex doing all of that to someone, I know it somehow poked your heart."

"Nah, not anymore. I'm totally over him Craig." She smiled while leaning on my car. "Where are they?" She asked.

"Field."

She nodded amused and remained quiet. There's the scent of her perfume again, I remembered giving her the same three years ago. Maybe she liked it and kept on buying one when she ran out of a bottle. It's strange though, Sasha being the same person as she was back then after all that happened.

I glanced at her but she's gone, then I was startled when she opened the door and sat on the car seat beside me.

"Let's go?" She said.

"I'm waiting for them, go ahead if you want to go home." I said dull.

"Okay, then we'll wait."

Sasha secured her seat and turned on the stereo again, of course the song resumed from its stop.

"Why did you do that?!" Sasha complained after I shut down the sound. Even slapped my hand when I pressed the off button.

"Don't insult me Sasha, you know what I feel right now, admit it."

"I told you I'm done with your best friend." She denied.

"Then don't even start toying me, okay?" I ordered.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever."

I glanced at the parking entrance and saw Zoe and Ash walking, laughing. Hatred sunk in me and I tightened my grip on the wheel. It's suppose to be me who Zoe is walking with, the one who's suppose to be sharing laughs with her, and the one who'll take her home. And now it's all turned upside down.

I hurriedly open the door and ran towards Zoe leaving Sasha behind. I am going to take her away with me, by hook or by crook!

Ash blocked me as I was going to grab her arm, giving me a threatening look and a smirk. I still pushed through, I won't stop until I get Zoe who look troubled at the moment.

But Ash was being stubborn, keeping away Zoe from me, we came to the point that we were pushing each other. Holding each other's collar and even tried to throw a fist.

"Hey, hey, hey! Wait!" Zoe said, her hands placed on my chest and Ash's. Trying to distant us from each other.

I saw Sasha running to us too, and quickly hold my arms to control my fist from flying into Ash's face.

"You jealous huh? I thought we'll leave each other alone?" Said Ash.

"You're going way too far Ash. Lay low." I said panting for some reason, my body's shaking from anger.
