There was a lot of commotion going on around the palace. As Doctor Sherman helped me do my daily exercise he filled me in, the gossip he is.

"So Gabe is about to fight Iris. For me?" Wow, way to go Gabe I hope you beat the shit outta her.

"Apparently so." As I think about it more and more I start to realize that if this happens then Iris may end up hating me even more. And this time she'd have a reason to torment me.

"I can't let this happen. You have to take me to them." Doctor Sherman starts to protest, bumbling about how I wasn't well enough.

"Did you hear my voice go up at the end?" Doctor Sherman shakes his head and I glare at him. "So that means I wasn't asking. I was telling."

Doctor Sherman finally gives in and as we go to his car I hear him muttering under his breath about how he was going to regret this.

"Are you a senior citizen? Step on the gas!" Impatiently I realize I'm being a back seat driver, so I sit back as the car picks up it's pace. When we pull up in front of the school I give a sigh of relief.

"Thank you." I tell Doctor Sherman as he helps me out.

"Anytime." I plant a kiss on his cheek before I start to hobble where the crowd is. Doesn't mean I missed his slight blush though.

People saw me and they began to whisper, shifting out of the way so I could get through.

Gabe, Ryan, and Iris were all in the middle. Iris managed to look smug and I wondered if I should even try and stop Gabe. I mean we all know that this biatch deserves it.

"Oh hello." Iris says cheerfully as she looks at me.

Gabe, Ryan, whichever that one is looks at me surprised.

"You shouldn't be here." Iris laughs and both twins look agitated with her. One of them, who I now know is Gabe, leaps for her but Ryan gets in the way.

"We aren't the law!" Ryan says, looking at Gabe with meaning. Even though they technically are the law.

"Look at Serena," Ryan keeps his eyes glued to the exact replica of him until Gabe forces him to look at me, "Iris did that. She hurt her and she doesn't feel sorry. She's fucking laughing and deserves everything that I do to her."

"Aw aren't you a big boy, with your big threats?" Iris sounds like she's talking to a baby. Why is she pushing Gabe's buttons when he could kill her in the blink of an eye?

"That's it." Gabe growls and in my head I'm cheering him on. But then I remember why I came.

"Gabe, don't. You're just going to make it worse." Everyone looks at me and I fidget, hating the spotlight.

"So she did do this to you." Gabe says slowly, but no one here is surprised when I nod.

"Don't do it. She's not worth it." I tell him quietly and I see him weighing my words.

"You're worth it." Gabe says and Ryan tenses visibly I wonder if this is about what he said last night when he thought I was asleep.

"If you feel anything for me then please don't do this." Gabe swallows and he grunts in frustration.

"For you. I'll leave her alone for you." Gabe starts to push through the crowd but he freezes when he hears what Iris says.

"How cute. You do whatever she tells you." She coos and Gabe turns around and he goes back up to Iris who is standing in front of him confidently.

Until Gabe punched her in the nose causing blood to pour out of it and there's no way it's not broken judging by the angle it's now at.

"Stay the hell away from Serena." Gabe then walks to me and helps me to his car, so I wave Doctor Sherman, who had seen the whole thing, ahead. It's difficult for me to get in so he gently picks me up and sets me in the seat making me giggle as I stretched, popping my stiff back a little.

"Dammit." I hear Gabe curse and immediately wonder what's wrong.

"Are you okay?" I ask quickly as Gabe gets in the driver seat.

"No, I need a cold shower." A blush spreads across my cheeks and I look out the window, completely embarrassed.

"Love, it's okay, you don't need to be embarrassed." I sigh in annoyance at the pet name that I absolutely hate, but for today I let it slide.

I stay silent and when we get back to the palace the first thing I see is Elena.

Crying as she holds her arm that's now twisted scarily with the bone sticking out.
