Daydreamer - Chapter 4

Ella POV

"So girl, I guess you have an explanation for being late..." Emma started.

"When I got out of the class I accidentally collided with classmate who I didn't talk to... so we kinda talked a little..." I started explaining but Rose interrupted me.

"Wait, wait... The classmate was a boy or girl?" Rose was boldly smiling.

"A boy... Why?" When I looked at them, they were staring at me. 

"Ohhh, interesting." Emmeline commented. "And what was he like?"

"Very tall, blue-eyed and had dark hair" 

"Why are you smiling, honey?" 

"I am not smiling...!" But then I realized I was, and my cheeks were probably red because Rose and Emma were laughing and pointing at them.

"And what about the accent?" Rose wanted to know more

"Definitely from London." I drank a little bit more of coffee and looked at my best friends. "But why do you want to know about him?"

"Hottie, you are never late! So I mean you must had a pretty conversation." Emmeline was the cheekiest girl I've ever met. "Wait, but you still haven't told us his name"

"It's Daniel..." Gosh, why am I smiling?!

"Daniel?" Then Rose turned to Emmy "Do we know him, Emms?"

"Probably not, girls!" I stated. "I've only noticed him today and it was just because we collided." Then I added trying to seem bored "But can we talk about anything else?"

Dan's POV

"Dan?! Dannnnnnn!" I heard a voice shouting. It was Kyle's.

"Gosh, Kyle!" My heartbeats were fast.

"So what you think of what I told ya?" 

"What?" I didn't have a clue about what he was talking about.

"You're daydreaming, mate! What's going one your mind?" Kyle punched me.

"I met a girl today..." 

"Of course you did!" My best friend shouted. "Otherwise you weren't like that."

"We collided and we talked a few minutes until a friend of her told her she was late, and then she said goodbye and started running." 

"What's her name?" Kyle asked

"Ella... And we both have German." I smiled because of this fact. 

"And what is she like?" Kyle was 

"Average height, green-eyed, curly-brown haired. She's beautiful..." 

"Man, the point is: did you get her number?" Kyle stopped typing on his computer, closed the lid and looked at me.

"Errr..." I ran my hand through my hair. I use to do it when I don't know what to say or I am nervous.  "Actually I was about to do it... when her phone rang..."

Ella POV

"Siiiiiis!" Audrey's voice made me smile. My older sister was so far from here. And I missed her so much.

"Audiiie" That's how my family calls her. When she was a baby girl, she couldn't say the r's so she said Audie. "I miss you so much, big sistah!"

"Me too, my baby! So how's everything going?" 

"Reasonably..." I said remembering the six degrees of separation I'm going through. (A/N TheScriptFamily did you get the reference? ;) ).

"Reasonably is never enough... But what happened sweetie?" 

"Well, John and I are no longer together... And it wasn't a friendly breakup..." I said lowering my tone.

"Oh honey. You told me you were not okay, but I thought you could fix that"

"I was the one who really tried. I got done and I ended everything." 

"I wish I could give ya a big big hug!" Audie smiled. "Let's do a virtual hug!"

She hugged her computer and I did the same. It was virtual, but I can tell I felt the warmness of her arms.

"Honey?" My sister said.

"Yeah...?"

"Promise me you will not give up on love." She looked at me with her blue eyes. "That medical student will regret of letting go a lovely girl like ya."

"Awwww I love ya!" I had a big smile on my face "I promise I won't." An image of a blue-eyed man smiling invaded my thoughts. It was Dan. Why the hell is he on my mind? I shook my head.

"Is everything okay, honey?" Audrey was looking at me with a concerned face.

"Huuh... Yes it is." I replied giggling. Why was I giggling?

(Still Ella's POV)

When I hang up my brother arrived home. Ryan went to my bedroom, laid on my bed and kissed my cheek. 

"Hey sister! How was your day?"

"Normal..." No it was not. This morning was especial. Nice! Now I've got a voice in my head! Ryan got mistrustful.

"What?" I asked trying to be normal. Obviously it was not working.

"You're speaking really fast... What happened?"

Gosh! My twin always knows when something is happening. I got speechless.

"Nothing, Ryan! Woah, it's half past seven. We better go make the dinner!" I tried to distract him of what had just happened. "Something simple. Do we still have pease? I was thinking about rice with pease."

I sent Ryan to the pantry, while I was filling a pan with water. I should try to think about something else.

"I'm quite proud of what we've done!" I said breaking the silence. "It tastes pretty well!"

"Completely" Ryan nodded "I didn't know we were such two great cookers!"

Ryan eventually looked deeply in my eyes and asked:

"Ella, I remained thinking about what occurred."

Oh my goodness! What am I supposed to say right now?

"I'm just worried. Have I done something?" Now I'm feeling sorry about him. He thinks it's his fault. Oh dear!

"Of course not...!" I said stroking his left hand.

"So..."

"I'm gonna tell ya... I met a guy..." I could tell that my cheeks were red.

A smile took place on Ryan's face. 

"Uhhhh... That's great, honey" 

"But we just met today. He seemed nice. And I've been thinking about him today..." I bit my bottom lip. 

"I guess these are the first symptoms of love..." Ryan gave me a bold look

After the dinner, I studied maybe some horus til I got too sleepy for carrying on with my study. Eventually, I fell asleep upon the books. I remember that my brother said something like "Desk is not the right place to sleep...". 

"Did I fall asleep?" 

"Yes, you did." He lift me up and laid me in bed.

Then I fell asleep within minutes, smiling and thinking about how handsome Dan was. Noooo, I didn't say this. Whatever, he was not that handsome.
