Chasing Pavements - Chapter 19

Ella's POV

"Love, I'm quite tired, would mind if I went home?" After leaving the library, we were heading to the underground station.

"Of course not, sweet..." He kissed my cheek and wrapped his arm around my waist. I loved when he did that. "But just if you let me take you..." He stopped and looked into my eyes. The beautiful overprotective side of Dan...

"Okay..." I said between kisses. He held my hand and we kept walking. In less than 4 minutes we were inside of the subway. Many people were there. Peak hour. I had to lean against Daniel's chest, which felt really good. It made me remember our first date at Starbucks and us in the subway. It was quite awkward but I liked that. After some minutes we found ourselves near my flat. We just needed to walk some meters to be home. Dan, as a true gentleman, wanted to make sure I was at home. 

"See ya tomorrow, bae..." He pecked my lips. I smiled closing the door. I undress my coat and stepping into the apartment. Besides 'Chasing Pavements', playing quite loud in the living room, I hear some sounds coming from the kitchen. I got in humbling that beautiful melody and see Ryan peeling some carrots.

"Hello sis..." He mumbles. 

"Nice choice." I commented.

"Yeah, I know it's on one of your favorite albums." 19 by Adele. It's a fact. I'm not able to live without that album. Suddenly, Ryan wides his eyes and looks at me weirdly.

"What?!" I ask a bit confused.

"I guess you forgot to check the size of your sweater when you bought it..." He looked at me. 

"Oh no, it's not mine. Actually, it's Dan's..." I smile when I say his name.

"Uhhhh... I can imagine what you were doing..." He smirked. 

"No, perv! We didn't do anything... It was cold and he borrowed me this one..." I said rolling up the sleeves and started helping my brother by peeling the potatoes. 

"So things between you are going well?" Ryan filled the pan with water and heated it.

"Yeah, I think so... Dan's really sweet. He took me home..." I smiled. 

"I'm happy for you, sis..." He smiled back.

"And I guess things are good are okay between you and Rose..." He blushed a bit when I mentioned her name.

"Yeah, she's an amazing girl... I couldn't ask for more..." He poured into the steaming pan the sliced carrots, still smiling.

"Rose is a great person... Don't let her go..." I said while slicing the potatoes.

"I will not... I think she hit me. I guess I'm like really in love... Weird..." He concluded making me chuckle. 

"Yes, brother you're in love for the first time in some years..." I winked at him.

"Feels great... I can't understand why I was afraid of being like this..." We washed our hands. I was happy for my brother. He's been afraid of love for some many years. I went to the pantry and brought the rice to the kitchen. After the soup was prepared, I made my curry chicken.  Ryan couldn't help but post a pic on Instagram with the subtitle: Twins in the kitchen. Chicken curry made by This_Is_Ella ;) Some seconds afterwards, we had a comment: 'Ummm I waaaaaaaant it. I need my cooker in LA xxx' My lovely sister. 'This_Is_Ella Oh gosh, I miss curry so muuuuch <3' Daniel. 'DanCSmith It's ouuuurs. Be jealous ;) <3'. I responded. Then Will and Woody also commented. 'Loooove is really in the air...! ;)'. 'Yes it is ;)' I responded. 'You Ryan are so evil. I hate ya so much. <3 You want us to be jealous. But I waaaaaaaaaant Ellie *-*' Emmeline's turn. We carried the dishes to the table and started eating, but more notifications were coming. 'This_Is_Ryan Graham also waaants This_Is_ Ella 's chicken curry!' kyleisacat posted a pic of the cute Graham ponting at the tablet. 'Awwwwwwww. He's sooooooooo cuuuute.*-*' I commented. 'I do agree with Emmeline, you Ryan are quite evil ;) s2' Rose's turn. 

"Oh god, they're so jealous." My brother typed something on their phone. "My girlfriend is calling me evil! WHYYY?!" I laughed so hard when he made a dramatic expression.

"I already know that Ella is with Daniel but what about you, Ryan?" We were skyping in Portuguese with our older sister, and of course she wanted to know the news.

"I'm with Rose..." He looked down, blushing a bit. 

"Noooo...? Rose? Ella's best friend?" Audie looked really surprised.

"Yeah... I haven't told ya anything 'cause it was recent... and I wanted to make sure our thing was serious..." Ryan explained with a huge smile on his face.

"Awwww I'm so happy that you found a girl! Virtual hug!" And we hugged the computer. 

"And you and James?" We winked at her. 

"He's wonderful, you have to meet him... And we've just moved in...!" She smiled brightly, showing her happiness.

"Oh did you?! Oh my god, we're so happy!" 

"James has just arrived!" Audrey shouted and for moments she disappeared, coming back with a caramel brown-haired man.

"So, these are the twins, Eleanor but we call her Ella and Ryan." She pointed at uus.

"Wow, you look very alike!" He chuckled. "Girls, you have the same traits..." James with said widened eyes. "Are you 17?"

"Yes, I am..." I giggled.

"What?! But you look older... You look like you're in 20s. 21 or 22..." He gesticulated a lot too.

"I've been told a few times... I don't know... Do I have forehead wrinkles?" I got closer of the webcam, zooming in my forehead. They all started laughing.

"No, relax sistah, you don't..." Audrey said. 

"We'de love to be talking to you for hours but we have to be awake at half past 7... And well it's almost 11..." 

"Okay babies!" Yes, we're like almost 18 but our older sister still call us babies. "I completely forgot because it's 3pm here..."

"You are very nice and I loved talking to you..." James smiled.

"Oh it was our pleasure. So talk to ya later!" We both said and hung up after exchanging virtual hugs. Seems that my sister made a right choice...!

A/N The 19th chapter is up and omfg: tomorrow is September 1st. Please noooo. Which means that I'm going to see my favorite teacher within two weeks. And I missed her soooo much...! -.-  *notice the sarcasm*
