Char had been given some limited access to the internet with what felt like a million restrictions. What was even worse was normally she was fairly good about getting around the filters. She'd been forced to ask for permission to access the forums. The Admiral sat her down and had a very stern discussion with her. She'd been informed the ships AI would review all posts before they were sent. With a sigh she closed her eyes and thought the message. It was something she'd been told to do by Hands and for some reason she almost had to obey him, Caught parts of the conference with Pack Father Hands. It was really interesting but man I had to blush at parts. Even with what he had to say about their deities controlling certain things the idea of having a boy in the shower with a dozen girls was... When he talked about curling for comfort and to relax sounded nice. What parts did all of you find interesting?
Since it was evening Smiles had to laugh and reply, Smiles2963, I think I remember being your age and I'd probably dies of embarrassment myself. I found most of it interesting though when the one overinflated bag of hot air... If I was Folician I would have growled at him. Might even have bitten him. Killing in self defense isn't murder. At the bit about being a Folician she was laying on the bed laughing her tail off.
Kevin thumped her with a pillow, "You are so bad Smiles." KEP001, Smiles that was wrong. I'd say the Pack Father handed that bit quite well. Speaking personally showering with a number of females might be sort of nice... (teasing) I like how they talked about family, I mean pack and valuing nature. Having your family help with the kids sounds really nice. Wish I'd had a family like that when I was young. Yah, bringing up memories of his parents abandoning him sucked. They'd died years ago and very few people went to the internment of their ashes. It was a small plot in a distant area. The cemetery had eventually gone out of business and their plot wasn't maintained and was overgrown. He laughed when she bit him.
"That was even worse than mine. What makes it so bad is you already do." She was still laughing.
Fahad had been able to watch the entire thing. He was old enough he'd sold the company since he'd never had any children to pass it onto, Barc2516, It was fascinating. I think one of the last things I wish is to do is to meet one. I was old when there were first here and I'm not long for this world. Just hope I hold on long enough to keep seeing the fun. Live316 glad you enjoyed being on the ship and still being there. He figured out who she was and just had a feeling. After moving the laptop off his hospital bed, he waited for the hospice worker to come in with his meds.
Fel301 was shocked by what Barc said. She wasn't a young chicken herself, but she hadn't realized he, presumed he, was so old, Fel301, I'm really sorry to hear that Barc. I'm going to miss our conversations and hope you are here until the end and one visits you.
Char was shocked when he indicated he had an idea of who she was, and she was on the ship. She hadn't said anything about it at all. The first night she'd been so excited and bouncy it wasn't funny and she had to say something. She'd never indicated what country she was from or even her age. On the internet she could literally be anyone and age. She dropped out of the discussion and might need to talk to someone.
Several of the others gave their sympathy and then went back to the general discussion since he didn't reply.
~~~ Smiles and Autumn
Smiles knew he was older, but she still wasn't used to the normal human life span. She considered it for several minutes, "Keven I'm going to go and meet the old man. He wishes he could see a Folician so I'm going to make it true for him. He won't know where I came from so it'll be safe."
