"Oops"

-2 weeks later-
Ava's POV
"Remind me where you're going" I sign. I'm helping Cason pack. I'm trying not to make a big deal out of it but I'm freaking out about being here without Cason. Cassidy won't be here during the days because of class.

"I have to go to a meeting in Japan. I'll be back in a month" he says.

"A month?!"

"I'm sorry but I can't miss it. These next few months are really important for the future of the gang"

"It's fine. Go do what you need to do" I smile.

"Thank you. I'll be back before you know it. Grayson, Tyson, and Xavier won't hurt you. I promise" he says putting the last of his things into his suitcase.

"I know" I sign. I walk with him to the front door.

"I'll be back before you know it" He says.

"I'll be fine, Cason"

"Grayson, make sure she's safe" he says. I look behind me and see Grayson sitting on the couch.

"She'll be fine, Cason. Just go" Grayson says.

"Ok ok I'm going" Cason says.

"Bye"

"Bye, Ava" he says and gives me a quick kiss on the lips. We both freeze and stare at each other. We both go for the door knob and our hands touch. We quickly pull them away and he opens the door.

"Bye" He says awkwardly before slipping out the door. I turn around and Grayson is giving me this huge smile.

"He totally likes you" He tells me

"No he doesn't" I sign and sit next to him on the couch. We still have like two cushions between us just because of what happened with...well...you know. Oh and Grayson has been learning sign language to try to talk to me.

"He just kissed you!" He says gesturing to the door as if he's still there. I don't reply, I just look down.

"I'm home bitch!" Someone yells from behind me, making me jump. I look behind me and it's

Once they're done they both look at me. I'm trying not to laugh.

"So, we haven't been formally introduced" Xavier starts "I'm Xavier"

"Ava" I spell

"She can't talk so she communicates in sign language. Do you know it?" Grayson asks Xavier

"Yeah. My brother's deaf, remember?" Xavier says

"Ohh yeah" Grayson says, dragging out the 'oh'

"Where's Cason?" Xavier asks

"Japan" I sigh

"Why?"

"Business"

"Oh, Okay. So where you from?"

"Here"

"Me too"

"......what happened to Aiden?"

"He knows what happens if you hurt a person another member 'claimed'. He's downstairs getting what he deserves"

"Claimed?"

"That sounds bad. It's like if a gang member likes someone, none of the others is allowed to hurt that person or make a move on them"

"I'm still confused"

"Cason 'claimed' you"

"What?!"
