Just like every other morning, Keith drove across the city, just to get his morning cup of coffee. No, he isn't picky about the certain flavour of the coffee. Frankly, he doesn't really like coffee at all. The only reason he really enjoys going is for, not only the calming jazz, playing through the speakers, but mainly to see the morning shift worker. Every morning, Keith drove across the city, not only for the morning coffee, but in an attempt to get closer to the beautiful employee who worked there.

Waiting in line felt like hours. No, not hours. Days. Waiting in line just to see a boy I'll never talk to. Keith, you're a real genius. He thought, sarcastically. He waited a few more moments. "Next!" It was his turn.

Keith walked up to the employee.

"Keith, right?" Asked the gorgeous worker.

He stumbled on his words. "Y-yes."

"What'll I get for you, Keith?"

Your number please, he thought. He looked at the menu for a while. It seemed like too long. Is he judging me for taking this long? Oh god, he panicked internally. "One creamy chocolate chill please, it's getting too hot outside." The worker looked out the window. His dreamy, royal blue eyes, his perfect skin. Keith, focus!

"And will that be to stay, or to go?"

"To stay, please." Keith paid for his drink and sat down, waiting for the barista to finish with his order, and to call out his name once more.

"Keith, with a creamy chocolate chill~!" He howled. Keith felt his hand get cold after picking up the drink. Darn! He spelt my name wrong again! He thought to himself, reading the hand written Kayyth on the front of his drink. First time is fine, but he's been going to the shop for so long! He should have spelt it right at least once!

"Excuse me, sir!" The barista looked in his direction. "You uh.. wrote my name wrong again," he explained, slowing down and getting quieter after every word. Keith, you're an idiot. Why so I get angry at the smallest of things? God, he must think I'm so stupid. He sighed.

"I'm sorry! What's the proper spelling?" Keith could see him reach down under the counter, pulling out a small notebook in the process of standing back up. He looked at him with a gentle smile. Keith was at a loss of words. What was he talking about again?

"R-right! Keith, written K e i t h," he told him slowly, making sure he had enough time to write every letter.

"You know what?" The barista looked at him, then shifted his head back down to the notebook, moving the pen swiftly on the paper, clearly writing something down. Keith was confused. "Here, have it." He ripped the page off the book's spine, neatly folded the page in half, and gave it to Keith. "By the way, the name's Lance."

Keith was confused. Wouldn't he need the page if he wanted the proper spelling of my name next time I ordered from him? As Keith finished the drink, and walked back outside to his car, he unfolded the page.

On the small paper, his name was scribbled out. Under it, it had written:

Lance~

Let's discuss it over dinner?

151 - 6293

Keith could only feel butterflies in his stomach throughout the entirety of the drive home. Lance, he thought. What a pretty name.
