Ming's POV

How to court N'Yo? Does anyone have an idea on what I should do in order to make everyone including Pha believe that I'm courting N'Yo?

I never courted a boy before... or a girl. I never courted anyone before. Never came across a person who is able to catch my attention except...

I shake my head and sigh.

Stop thinking about the impossible!

Sigh once again before steering my mind back to my mission.

Ok, what am I supposed to do now? There must be some courting methods, right? Will it be like what we see in the TV drama? Buying red roses? Confessing your love in front of people? Candlelight dinner in a romantic atmosphere restaurant?

Do all these work on a boy? Girls may like all these roses, candlelight dinner thing, but... will a boy like these too?

Should I call P'Gemma and ask her since she is the one who said I can have any resources I need? No... no way... I can't ask her. She will tease me till never ending and she will make sure my future wife knows about it too.

I don't know her well and I have only seen her a couple times, but that's the kind of vibes I get from her so there's no way I would call her and let her teases me.

Who I can turn to for advice?

Lam? Erm... Nope. Lam's view of courting... I have to say, not a good... ahem... suitable for N'Yo...

Forth? Erm... How am I supposed to ask him? 'Can you give me advice on how to court your baby brother?' I will be lucky if he doesn't whack me with whatever thing he can get by his hand.

Kit? He won't whack me, but I'm sure he will question me like what a mother usually does when her daughter brings a boy home.

And there's another problem. What if P'Gemma was wrong, Pha isn't in love with N'Yo? What if Pha is just acting like he is in love? What if he is doing that for his plan of revenge since I don't know the details of his plan? What if...

Stop!! No more what ifs! I should trust P'Gemma. .... Should I?? I don't really know her. She just popped out from nowhere asking for my help. Can I trust her...?

Argh... I'm getting a headache.

"Hey! Ming, why are you still standing here? I thought I already told you to go in without me. There's no need to wait for me here. Go in now. They are inside waiting for us. Don't keep them from waiting too long."

Lam's voice snaps me out from my thoughts and the 'They' Lam is talking about, are referring to Forth, Kit and N'Yo. We are meeting them for lunch as we usually do.

"It's ok. I only wait for a few minutes, not very long. Let's go in now." I lied.

I can't tell him that I didn't realise I was standing outside the cafeteria because I was busy swimming in the pool of my thoughts.

Lam is a nice guy, a good friend, but sometimes, he can be nosy and asks too many questions which I didn't know how to answer without disclosing my secrets.

I walk into the cafeteria with Lam. Forth, Kit and N'Yo are sitting at our usual seat.

We chit chat while eating. We are enjoying our lunch although N'Yo looks a little distracted and I can understand why.

Everything is fine until a commotion arises in the cafeteria. I turn towards the source of the commotion and I see Pha walks into the cafeteria with... my cousin.

My cousin?!! Seriously!! Stupid Pha! P'Gemma was right! Pha is a piece of wood that really need someone to carve on it in order to make it into a beautiful art piece.
