P'Pha, I'm Serious

"Baby Bunny, are you serious about it?" The speaker on the other side of the line say.

"Yes, Very. P'Kit, I know what I'm doing, and I know what I really want. I don't want to miss the chance." I say with determination.

Even though I can't see P'Kit's face, but I can bet that there is a worried frown on his face right now. He is worried about me. I sigh deeply, thinking what I should do to make him stop worrying about me.

"...... O..k... Good luck, Baby Bunny and always remember, your brother and I will always be there for you." I hear resignation in P'Kit's voice.

I know this is hard for P'Kit, especially he is not very fond of P'Pha. Somewhere in P'Kit's mind, he thinks P'Ming is better, and he keeps telling me that he has a bad feeling about P'Pha, that he couldn't bring himself to trust him.

He is so worried that one day, P'Pha will hurt me and break my heart.

Although P'Kit is not very fond of P'Pha, but he loves me so much that he is willing to respect my decision and accept the man I love.

As for my brother, he is very supportive of every decision I make. He will worry about me, that's for sure, but not as much as P'Kit. He always told me to go for what I really want.

I'm a very fortunate person to have such a lovely family who will always love me and be there for me.

I turn on the silent mode of my phone before putting it back into my jean pocket.

I have a very important meeting later on and I don't want to have any interruption such as ringing of a phone.

Biting my bottom lip, I glance at my watch.

Ten more minutes... Ten more minutes and he will be here.

That's right! I'm waiting for P'Pha at my favourite cafe, 'Direction', and I'm now sitting at the very same spot we were on the night of his birthday.

I lay my head on the table, thinking about the call I made to him hours ago, telling him that I need to talk to him.

He was about to say 'no', I knew it, but I stopped him before he could by telling him, it's important and I need to talk to him urgently. He agreed after a few minutes of silence, but there is reluctance in his voice.

It was disheartening to hear the reluctance in his voice. He sounded like he wasn't willing to see me, like he was forced to meet me.

Yeah, I know, I kind of forced him to meet me, but still..., it was disheartening so I called P'Gemma before I lose all my confidence and back off.

Guess what P said to me?

She said, "Reluctance in his voice makes you start losing your confidence?! Baby Yo, are you sure you really want him? I'm not trying to scare you. Yo, courting that P'Pha of yours won't be easy, and I don't think he will make it any easier for you too. A man like your P'Pha can be very stubborn and pig-headed, and you probably will have a hard time courting him. If you don't think you can handle it, I will advise you, it's better for you to give up on him now and move on. Maybe you should give that Ming a chance."

That is the difference between P'Kit and P'Gemma.

In the situation like this, P'Kit will pamper me with soothing and comforting words, shower me with lots of loves and hugs, and spoils me like I'm a baby.
