Chapter 43;

Alex speaking.
23/05/17; 8:30 A.M

I woke up very early today.. 'woke up', well You can say that I had a sleepless night. I spent some time with my little sister just crying on her shoulder about how much I have been stabbed in the back by people who meant the world to me. Nothing new. I've been betrayed so much these past few years, I should get used to it.

I was scrolling thru my messages and stopped by one that caught my intention. I'm so stupid. I can't believe I rejected someone that wanted nothing but the best for me, for people that weren't worth it. I didn't think twice and pressed the call button.

"Hello ?" He said with a sleepy voice.
"Oh my God I'm sorry, did I wake you up ?"
"Alex ? Oh no no it's fine. Why are you calling in the middle of the night, are you okay ?"

Oh yeah, timezones.

"Um- No don't worry. I just remembered how much I missed you. Even after me not willing to listen to you and ignoring you, you still cared for me and made sure I was okay. I was being so ungrateful. Thank you so much William."
"I missed you too. And don't thank me. I'll always be here for you even if you don't want me to be."

A weak smile formed my lips.

"So, tell me, now I'm ready to listen. What did you want to talk about so badly ?" I asked.
"I think you already know by now."
"It depends, tell me ? And no we can't meet up, I'm in London right now."

He took a deep breath.

"Well.. I overheard a conversation between Grayson and James, Grayson said that-"
"Wow, that was you who found out ?!"
"Yes. I tried to tell you for so long but you never listened. That's why I decided to hit up Sabrina so maybe she could do something about it."
"Oh.. okay."
"Um- you're not mad at me ?"
"Why would I be ? I was the one not listening, maybe if I did none of this would have happened. Anyways, at least you tried to warn me, not like some other people."
"Looks like you found out about this in an horrible way."
"You can't imagine."

We talked about this for a little bit then started conversing about his singing career since he started youtube also then mine and a lot of other stuff too. It felt good.

I can't describe what is happening here. Everyone is a fucking mess. After my phone call with Alex me and Conor directly went to the Dolan's house. Ethan told us that Grayson was supposed to spend the night at Alex's and he didn't get back here since then. We found out Alex decided to come back to London, everyone tried to reach back to him but the messages won't deliver and we couldn't call him either. Stupid airplane mode.

Nobody was able to sleep. We were all just there waiting for Grayson to come back, or for Alex to get back to us. Sadly, it's been almost 4 hours and no news from either of them. We started to really get worried about Gray, we called so many times and he just wouldn't pick up. I mean, we understand that he must be sad and wants to be alone, but it's just not his type to leave us hanging for this long, something is up and I could feel it.

I opened my eyes suddenly. Where the fuck am I ? And why can't I move ? What the fuck happened ? I looked at my body to see it attached to the chair I'm sitting on with a chain. I then proceeded to give a quick look at the little room I'm trapped in; It was too dark and there was nothing in it beside me. There isn't any window either and the door was closed. Barely any oxygen was in there and the bandana I had on my mouth didn't help.

I closed my eyes, wishing that all of this turned out to be a nightmare, but I realized it wasn't when I heard the door opening.

"So, pretty boy is now awake." Said an unfamiliar voice.

I looked at the door to see a shadow standing there. His face became clearer as he came closer to me.

Nate Garner.

"So acting less smart now, aren't we ?!" He asked as he removed whatever was on my mouth.
"Rape me, rob me, beat the shit out of me, fucking kill me, but please leave Alex alone !" I said while trying to catch my breath.
"Awh, how cute." He answered sarcastically. "What Romeo could do for his lover."

He threw his first punch at my face as I moaned in pain.

"You know, I could easily kill you now but-"
"Then do it ! Fucking kill me !!" I screamed.

He punched me again as me and the chair fell backwards which caused a huge pain on my back.

"I'd love to. But sadly, I do need you alive for a couple more days, we both know that you're not the one I want to have back with me."
"L-leave A-Alex alone. He- he does-doesn't w-want y-you." I stuttered due to the pain.
"As far as I know, he left your sorry ass so I guess I still have my chance."

He laughed hysterically before closing the door behind him. What a psychopath. I can't let him have Alex.
