Chapter 45; The Final

Alex speaking.

I don't know how I found a ticket to the closest flight from London to California and finally landed. I didn't have anything on me except my phone and some money, in fact I couldn't care less about anything but that Grayson is in danger and it's all my fault.

I got out of the plane and ran inside the airport, some people recognized me and noticed me being in a rush and they let me pass ahead to check my passport. I just wanted to get out of here and go to the Dolan's as soon as possible.

I hope it's not too late.

I got to speak to the cops while I was on the phone with Will, I told them to keep an eye on the basement G was kept in without being obvious and they only should step in if Nate tried to kill Grayson. I also told Will to send me a text immediately if this happened but nothing from him yet which made me relax a little.

I finally made my way out and scanned the road with my eyes, noticing a very familiar white Mercedes parked just in front of the door. I ran toward it and got in.

"Alex !" He screamed while hugging me as I hugged back immediately.
"Thank you for picking me up Will." I said in a low tone.
"Don't thank me." He answered after letting go of my embrace.

He smiled at me then started the car in silent as I just looked through the window as my hands were shaking out of frustration.

"Please stop worrying. The police said that he is not in danger at the moment." He said in a soft voice.

I took a deep breath.

"But tell me, why didn't you let the police break in and save him ? What's your idea ?" He interrogated after a few seconds of silence.
"I know Nate too well. If the cops just broke in he'll either harm Gray or succeed to make his way out. And I don't want either of this happening. I want my boyfriend- I mean, ex boyfriend to be safe and Nate to rot in hell for the rest of his life."
"I understand, so what's the plan ?"
"I'll tell you once we arrive the Dolan's."

He nodded while I took my phone out of my pocket and I noticed a text message from a private number that was sent 10 minutes ago.

"Glad you landed safe baby."

I sighed as Will parked the car in front of the house. I got out of it and ran toward the door and knocked multiple times. Sabrina opened to me and our eyes met. She didn't think twice and hugged me tightly, it took me a minute before wrapping my arms around her. I looked behind her to see James Ethan Conor and Cameron standing there, they finally decided to walk toward us and join the hug.

"We missed you, so so much." Said Cameron after everyone taking a step back.
"I missed you guys so much more." I replied which made them smile very weakly. Nobody was really in the mood to smile and I perfectly understand that.
"So, what's your plan ?" Asked Conor.

I scanned the room with my eyes and took a deep breath. I'm sure he is watching us from somewhere.

"Nothing, I'm getting back with Nate, I realized that it has been him all along. I'm just here to say goodbye." I said trying to sound as convincing as possible.
"Excuse me ?!" Yelled Ethan.

I gave Conor, Sabrina and William a look that they sure understood since they all smirked.

"Are you fucking serious ?! You're so stupid !" Spat William, playing along.
"I'm not stupid, I'm just in love !" I screamed back.

I'm in love, but not with Nate.

"Go fucking see him then, and while you're at it tell your psychopath of a lover to leave Grayson alone !" Said Sabrina and she discretely winked at Ethan Cameron and James so they could play along as they winked back.
"Fucking leave !" Yelled Ethan as pushing me out of the house.
