Chapter 24;

Grayson speaking.

"Who the fuck are you ?" The guy asked, without letting go of Alex.
"I'd be your worst nightmare if you don't remove your dirty hands from him."

He busted out laughing. My blood started boiling and I clenched my fists.

"Oh okay, you're like his new boyfriend or something ? Is he still that good in bed ?"

This guy is really getting on my last nerve. Just the idea of him already having sex with Alex before made me shake out of anger.

Without a second thought, I ran toward him, pushed him to the ground before pushing Alex to the side so he won't get hurt then jumped on top of this other guy and started punching him with all my strength on the face like my life depended on it. All the stress and anxiety that I had been going through these past few days started to go away punch after punch. I felt relieved after hearing him screaming in pain and begging me to stop.
I stopped and grabbed the guy by the hair to approach his face that was now covered in blood to mine.

"You're begging me to stop ? That's what Alex was telling you to do and you didn't, why should I stop ?!"

I continued to punch him but this time on his body.

"You're going to regret hurting him, fucking bastard !"
"Grayson !! Please stop !!" Yelled Alex while trying to push me off him. "You're going to kill him !"

His voice cracked, he was in the verge of crying. I don't wanna be the reason of his pain anymore. So I stopped, even if I didn't want to. I got up and grabbed Alex by the hand.

"Let's go." I ordered like nothing happened.

We were about to walk to my car but I faced the douche bag again, came closer and spitted on his face.

"Fucking asshole." I said before facing Alex. "Now we can go."

The car ride was pretty silent. I looked at Alex from time to time as I could hear him sniffing. I took the control of the wheel with a hand and my free hand went searching for his. He finally looked at me after looking through the window for the whole ride, I smiled at him. He gave me a weak smile back and started fondling my hand.

"Thank you Gray. You didn't have to."
"Don't thank me. I had to do it."
"Look at your shirt.. it's covered with blood."
"It was worth it. Let's change the subject."
"Don't you wanna know who is he ?" He asked, confused.
"I do. But I don't wanna pressure you, when you feel like telling me, I'm here."

He nodded as I was parking in front of the house. We went inside and he ran upstairs, still upset by what just happened. I sighed and went to my room shortly after to change my shirt then went to Alex's. I didn't knock and opened the door slowly, he was just there, facing the window without noticing me coming in.

I came close without doing any noise, hugged him from behind and kissed his cheek. He smiled. We stayed like that for a few minutes before me deciding to break the silence.

"I'm taking you out tonight."
"Gray I'm not in the mood."
"I'll change your mood."
"No."
"It's a date."

He faced me, chocked by my statement, I smiled at him and kissed his forehead.

"Be ready at 8."

I let go of him and opened the door to see James and Ethan falling to the ground. What the fuck ? I should be mad but I just laughed.

"Haven't anyone told you that it's impolite to overhear someone else's conversation ?"

James got up and started jumping of happiness all over the room.

"Finally you guys are going on a date !" He yelled while hugging Alex.

Ethan got up as well and started clapping, very enthusiast. I looked at Alex who seemed very uncomfortable.

"Okay guys, stop. It's just a date. Can you both stop pressuring us ?" I asked, making it seem like I wasn't that excited about it.
"Whatever. You're no fun." Replied James in a baby voice.

I laughed a little and left the room, I need to make sure that I'll let Alex remember this night like one of the best dates of his life.
