"Why Gray ?" Asked James with a calm tone. "What you did is wrong. Unless there is a good reason ?"
"I just don't want him to do it." I replied, avoiding eye contacts.
"I know you, I'm pretty sure that there is a reason for you not accepting his decision. If not then I understand why he broke up with you, because I would do the same thing if I was him. I'd choose my youtube career over any guy anyday to be honest."

I sighed, putting my head between my hands. I knew James was right. Alex loves me and all but in the end of the day, he can't just choose me over his career because God knows if I end up being a part of his future or not, I honestly hope to be in it though.

"Grayson, I'm still waiting for a response."

"Grayson !" He raised his voice.
"Okay !" I yelled as well while getting up. "I'm just too possessive James. He is so talented so I'm pretty sure he'll get famous quickly. Then he'll start doing meet and greets, tours, albums. He'll prefer his career over me. Yes I acted selfish, he is right, but you know how much shits I've been through my whole life and I can't deal with loosing someone I care about anymore ! But it doesn't matter, because I lost him anyway."

We stared at each other for awhile before him taking a deep breath.

"Seat down." He Ordered.

I nodded and sat on my bed as he sat next to me.

"That's why I never supported him, even if I'm fucking proud of him. What if he'll change ? What if the fame will get to his head ? What if-"
"Grayson ! You have to stop overthinking everything."

He got something out of his pocket and handled it to me. I grabbed the box, it was medicine.

"I'm not taking these." I spat.
"You need too. These are the only solution for you to get through your anxiety Grayson."
"No ! I'm not crazy !!"
"Well you'll be soon if you don't find a solution !!"

I looked at him with big eyes, shocked.

"Don't look at me like that Gray, I'm here to wake you up before it's too late ! You're not just hurting people around you, but yourself too."

I looked at the ground while he got up.

"You take one when you wake up, and one before going to sleep. Don't overdose them, okay ?"

I gazed at him again and just nodded as a response.

"Good. Now listen, if Alex really loves you, he would manage between his career and you. I know that telling you this will not comfort you since anxiety is eating you alive, but once you take a pill, have that in mind; no matter how busy someone can get, if they love you, they'll find time for you."

I nodded again, he smiled at me and hugged me.

"Remember, 2 pills a day, not more and not less."

He then left my room, leaving me here with that little box. I glanced at it in disgust, I hated it. But it was my last chance, I had to give it a try. If this medicine can really help me to win Alex back, then I'll take it.
