Alex speaking.

I woke up after sleeping for like 10 hours, I really needed this. I took my phone that was on the counter and unlocked it, still sleepy. I opened the first message that was from Cameron.

"Good morning ! Hope you're feeling good today. We had to go shopping with James because he was having a panic attack (he can be really dramatic sometimes yeah) so we won't be back for a long time. We promise to take you out tonight though ! Oh and by the way Grayson stayed here because he woke up with a headache, you won't feel alone. We will be back as soon as possible. Kisses xx"

Staying here all alone with Grayson ? Yay. I would rather staying here without any company but whatever. I opened another text that was from William.

"Hi Alex. I really wanna apologies for what happened yesterday, I didn't want it to end like this. Please accept my invitation for lunch today ? We can hang out and I can show you some of my favorite places in America, down ? I won't bring out our past I promise !"

Thank God ! Me and William aren't that close but I'd prefer anyone and anything over Grayson and staying at home all day long.

"Hi William ! No worries, and I'd love to hang out with you."
"Perfect ! I'll pick you up at 3 ?"
"Sounds good, See you."

I locked my phone and went to take a shower. After 30 minutes, I got out, wore a jeans and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I was searching for something to eat when my phone rang, it was an unknown number.

"Yes ?"
"Hey Alex ! It's James."
"Hi sister !"

We both laughed.

"I like you already !" He replied. "I was wondering if you checked up on Grayson ?"
"Oh, not yet, I woke up not so long ago. What's up ?"
"Alright, if you could take care of him because we are worried, he woke up very sick."
"Will do right now, don't worry !"
"Great !"

He seemed more than happy after I said that I'll check up on Grayson but whatever.

"Anyway I gotta leave, shopping is calling me ! I'll see you tonight."
"Of course, see you !"

I hung up and took a deep breath. I prepared some tea and went upstairs to Grayson's room.

"Grayson ?" I knocked on the door.
"Come in."

I came in to see him on his bed, covered with the blankets, staring at me with puppy eyes. I came closer and sat on the corner of the bed.

"Seat properly." I ordered him while handling him the cup of tea.
"Thank you."
"How are you feeling ?"
"A bit better." He replied, taking a sip if his tea afterwards.

There was a very awkward moment of silence and I tried to avoid eyes contact with him.

"Well.. if you need anything I'll be downstairs."

I got up but he grabbed my arm. I looked at him surprised.

"Don't go.. Please. I'm so sorry for yesterday, I don't want you to see me as this kind of guy. I'm not a bad person, I just do stupid things that I regret afterwards."
"You're forgiven."

He stared at me in shock.

"Wow. Really ?"
"Yes. After all, we leave under the same roof, we have to support each other no matter what. But I hope this kind of things won't happen again."

He smiled.

"I promise ! Thank you so much !"

He got up and hugged me as I hugged him back.

"You're still hella hot though." He mentioned in a flirty voice.
"Shut up Dolan."

We laughed.

"Are you hungry ?" He asked.
"Starving."
"Let's go get some breakfast."
"Yes ! Wait.. weren't you sick a second ago ?"
"No. Just wanted to spend the day with you. Now, go get dressed."

I blushed a little so I rushed to my room to finish preparing myself. I put a shirt on and fixed my hair then went back to Grayson's room without even knocking.

"I'm read-"

I stopped talking after noticing him being dressed with only a towel on his waist. I looked at him from head to toe.

"Well, I'm not ready yet." He said while laughing.
"You're- you're fast at taking shower."

Wow Alex, nobody cares.

"I am. Wanna help ?"
"Huh ?"
"Since you're still there I guess you wanna help me get dressed ?"
"No I'm good thanks !"

I said while running downstairs. This guy just loves to make me feel awkward and I hate how he always succeed at doing it.
