Chapter 1;

23/1/2017; 7:35 A.M
Alex speaking.

" Are you ready? " said a voice behind me.
" As ready as I can be " I smiled.

And here I am, packing my stuff to move from England to America. I was ready to leave all my family and friends behind to start a new life. I'm Alex, I'm turning nineteen soon and I'm traveling to continue my studies in the university of Harvard.

"Take care of yourself hunny." My mom said as she kissed my forehead.
"Of course."
"Study well, we're so proud of you." Added my dad with a smile.

I smiled back and hugged him. I looked one last time at them and my house, thinking of how much I'll miss all of this. But my sisters travelled as well to accomplish their dreams, so what's stopping me ?

I sighed deeply before putting my stuff in the Uber to drive to the airport. Its a new chapter, hoping for it to be a good one.

I was looking through the window to enjoy London one last time before receiving a call.

"Hi brother !"
"Hello TayTay !"
"So how are you feeling?"
"I'm good sis, just a little bit stressed out."
"Don't be, everything will be alright ! Plus, you know Cameron already, you're going to stay at her house until you get used to America."
"I know and I love Cameron, I'm just stressing out by her brothers, I hope they'll like me as well."
"They're both so nice, stop worrying for every little thing. Also they're around your age I'm sure you guys will be best friends !"
"Yeah, if you say so.."

I'm a nice person, I just don't know how to socialize and Taylor knows that. Let's just hope she's right and that they talk a lot so I don't have to start the conversation.

"I'm so sorry Alex I have to go ! Please don't forget to text me when you arrive to America, alright ?"
"Don't worry, I arrived to the airport anyway. Thank you for distracting me from all this pressure I needed it."
"Of course ! Have a safe flight, I love you !"
"I love you more Tay."

23/1/2017; 6:50 P.M

Los Angeles, finally we are here. I'm feeling mixed emotions; I've never felt this happy and this anxious at the same time. After getting out of the plane and finding my bags, I walked toward the exit of the airport and searched for Cameron between all of these people. I then found a girl holding a piece of paper with "Aiono" written on it. I smiled and went directly to her.

"Cameron !"
"Alex oh my god ! I missed you so much."

She abandoned the piece of paper and just jumped in my arms.

"I missed you more."
"Look at you ! You became a handsome man ! If you were a bit older I would-"
"Okay Cam, I think I got the message" I said while laughing

She laughed as well, she's like a big sister to me. I've known her for a long time now and she's a really nice girl who never fail to make you laugh. The driver came to help me with my luggages.

"You're gonna love it here ! My brothers are so excited to see you."
"I can't wait to meet them as well, if they're as nice as you I'll feel very welcomed here."

She smiled and we drove to her house. I just hope that they really wanna meet me and that they'll like me.
