Love Story [COMPLETED]

Chapter Three ~ First Love

Kris paced around in the woods, frustrated. Rae was making a mistake, she wasn't supposed to be with Tao, she was supposed to be with him! He regretted spouting off at her like that, obviously it didn't help him in any way!

He shuddered as he remembered her moving closer to Tao when he sat next to her, he never should have left her. Especially with HIM. Kris was certain that Tao would hurt her, maybe even betray her like he did to him. But what scared him the most was the fact that Rae seemed to like him back, she seemed to be falling in love with him.

"No, no, NO!" he yelled at no one in particular. He was terrified at the thought of his precious Rae being with someone else, someone who used to be his friend. His BEST friend. He sat down under a tree and cried, he cried until he had no more tears left. Then, when he was done and felt better, he got up, grabbed his board, and ran towards the platform. He would catch the next gondola, and then, he would find them and catch his princess' heart, and never let her go!

"Rae, we've reached the top!" I heard Tao say, as he gently nudged me. I sat up.

"Did I fall asleep??" I asked him, embarrassed. He smiled at me.

"Yes. But don't worry about it!" He said. I still blushed.

"I'm sorry!" I said.

Tao smiled, then, with a mischievous grin, he said, "it's fine! Besides, you're adorable when you sleep!"

"Tao!" I cried, smacking his shoulder. He just laughed and tried to grab me. I screamed playfully and ran out of the gondola, with Tao right behind me. He playfully grabbed me around the waist and we both fell into the snow, and of course I landed right on top of him. I stared at him for a minute, and then tried to get up. Tao tried to help me but we both fell in the snow again, only this time, Tao landed on top.

We were face to face. Before I could move or do anything, before I could even think, Tao's lips were on mine. I gasped lightly, but I kissed him back. The kiss got deeper and more passionate, and one led to another. Soon, we were kissing in the snow. I could barely think, it was amazing! Tao held me close the whole time, and when we finally broke apart, we were both breathless. He smiled at me, then sat up, pulling me into his lap.

"Only skiing, eh?" He asked teasingly.

"Shut up!" I said, with a smile. He smiled back and kissed me on the cheek. We got up and got our skis and poles.

"Rae, you should sleep in my room with me tonight!" Tao said, as we snapped on our skis.

"Yeah no. That's as far as it's going. For now! But don't think I don't want to be yours." I said, pulling my goggles down. Tao smiled at me and kissed me on the lips. Then we both started down the hill.

As we were heading down, I was starting to speed up. Tao was ahead of me, and I'm not sure what happened, but he suddenly jerked forward and crashed. I saw him slide a few feet.

"Tao!!!!!" I screamed, skiing down and stopping near him. I took my skis off and ran over to him "Tao, are you ok??" I asked. He smiled up at me.

"Yes, I'm ok." He said, sitting up. He rubbed his arm, then looked for his skis. I grabbed one as he got the other.

"Thank you!" He said, smiling at me.

"Showing off?" We suddenly heard Kris say, we both turned and saw him sitting at the top of an incline.

"How long were you there?" I asked him, surprised.

He smiled at me. "I saw the whole thing."

"Oh, great." Tao mumbled. "Can you go away now so my girlfriend and I can ski in peace?"

When Kris heard this, I saw his face pale a bit. "Your what??" He asked, looking from me to him.

"My girlfriend." Tao said, placing his arm around my waist.

"Rae, is this true?" Kris asked, jumping down and landing near us.

"Yes." I said, taking Tao's hand in mine. Kris looked heartbroken, but he immediately covered it up.

"Rae..." He started, stepping towards me.

"What, you're going to tell her to stay away from me? That I'll hurt her and betray her? Really Kris, you ditched me, remember?" Tao said, I heard a hint of hurt in his voice. Kris didn't say anything. He just stared at me. Then, after a few minutes, he snapped his board on and went down the hill. Not looking back.

"Is he ok?" I asked Tao, after Kris was out of sight.

"I don't know." Tao said, putting his skis back on. "Let's go!" I nodded at him and we skied down the hill.

Here's chapter three! So, updates might happen more frequently then I originally planned....I have the whole story finished, I just need to copy and paste it onto Wattpad. But anyways, it looks like Rae has chosen Tao. Or has she?? Ehehehe! We'll have to find out! Thanks for reading and for the votes!
