Epilogue

"What is that??" He heard a voice say.

"What? Where? I don't see anything!" A different voice said.

"That! Down there! That bloody thing!" The first voice said, "is it an animal of some type?"

"Holy cow, that's a human!" The second voice cried.

"What???" The first voice asked, "oh gosh, you're right!" There was rustling, and sounds of running footsteps. He felt someone gently roll him to his back.

"Is he alive?" The second voice asked. He felt someone gently press their fingers against his neck.

"There's barely a pulse! But he is still alive!" The first voice said.

"What do you think happened?" Asked the second voice.

"I don't know, but Jinki, we need to cover his wounds and call for help!" The first voice said.

"Ok!" The man named Jinki said. There was ripping sounds, like fabric getting shredded, and then he felt someone gently wrapping his wounds. He heard the first voice talking, like he was on the phone.

"Minho! I'm done!" Jinki yelled.

"Ok, I'll be right over!" The man named Minho called back, "emergency will be here soon! Should we chance moving him?"

"No, he's too beat up. We should just wait for emergency to come. His breathing is faint but it is getting more steady!" Jinki said, putting his hand just over his mouth.

After a few minutes, he was aware of lots of people and the sounds of vehicles. He felt himself get lifted up onto what felt like a stretcher. He heard the paramedics talking. They talked about how a man who lost this much blood should be dead, and how it was miraculous that the gashes in his chest just missed his heart. He felt himself slip into unconsciousness again.

When he woke up, he was in a hospital room. He saw two men sitting in the chairs near the bed.

"He's awake!" The first man said. To him, he asked, "are you ok?"

He nodded and asked for water. The second man got up and got some for him.

After helping him drink it, he said, "I'm Minho. This is Jinki. What's your name?"

He looked around, then said hoarsely, "Zitao, my name is Zitao. But my friends just call me Tao. Where's my girlfriend?"

BANG BANG BANG!!!! I bet you weren't expecting this plot twist!! Tehehehe!!! Don't worry, there is a sequel coming. I'll post more about that later! Meanwhile, thanks so much for reading and for the votes! It means a lot!
