[ Simanda ] Any happy ending for us?

Chapter 4: Closer and closer

  Simon's POV

The next day is brilliant. I finally find someone that I believe can win the show. There is one. The little girl who sing named Connie Talbot. She is only eight but her voice is so phenomenal. All the audience love her. So do Amanda.

And while I am praising that little girl, Amanda gives me a kiss on my cheek. I'm a little bit confused, but I manage to finish my praise.

We really get on these days. At first we're still shy of each other. Day by day, we soon become good friends. We give more hug to each other. And a lot of kisses too! Piers, Amanda, Ant n'Dec and me, we're now a real family.

I'm not sure about my feeling for Amanda now. My heart sometimes beats really fast when seeing her smile. There she comes, that radiantly woman. I start to feel as worms in my stomach.
This time, I decided to ask her out for dinner. I was so shy that I 've missed my chances several times before. I never ask a girl on a solo date. I don't know how to start a conversation and can't even face to face with that girl. However, I'll try my best to ask Amanda out, and confess my feeling. She gives me a tight hug, and then put her  hand around me.
- Are you standing here waiting for me, Simes?
- Maybe- I answer in a cunningly way. Will you be free this Saturday evening, darling?
- Well, wait a minute. Let's me check my schedule... Hmm... Luckily, I'll be free. You are up to something, aren't you?

Her reply make me relieve now. Ok, all I need to do is invite her to the dinner date

-Correct answer! A dinner date for just two of us at the most beautiful restaurant in the city... Delicious food, nice view, and maybe some romantic.

She laughs, and says she definitely will come.

_Saturday evening _
I'm ready for the dinner. I drive to Amanda house to pick her up. She looks amazing in the long black dress. I've imagined everything about this dinner, this is my chance.

When we all get to the restaurant, I could not believe in my eyes. Amanda's friends are here too ( LOL!!! ) I first dream about a romantic dinner with just Amanda. She is also surprised, she comes toward her friend and say hello to them
- Oh guys, wouldn't think that I can see you here! This is my partner and also my boss, Simon Cowell. I think that you guys know him, right?
Amanda friends: Of course babe, BGT's judges, he is really famous
Friends of Amanda seem very excited to see me. So I come and say hello to them.
- Hello, I'm Simon Cowell. Nice to meet you.

- His voice was so sweet. What are you and this handsome gentleman doing here? Let me guess... Aren't you dating with him!?
- Don't say like that girls! We are just friend

Amanda strictly refuses. She always becomes like that when someone say we look like a couple. My plan is now absolutely go wrong, but never mind, I want to wait until I be sure about my feeling.

We have a wonderful dinner. After the meal, I told Amanda to come and talk with her friend. I sit on the chair, looking at her. The way she laughs at her friends is so different from other girls that I used to date. She suddenly walk to my side and sit next to me. Our chair has a good view to see all the city outside. It's dark now so the buildings is on light, everything is very fantastic.
- Simon, would you mind if I ask you a question?
-Go on, sweetheart -I reply then put my hand round her shoulder
-Why did you choose my to be one of BGT's judges. I mean, I've thought for the reason many times, but I couldn't make it out. I can know by myself that I didn't deserve this position.
I have a feeling that one day Amanda will ask me this question. I'm still not ready to tell her the answer now
-You're right. I chose you because of some reasons. But darling, I'm so sorry, I couldn't tell you right now. One day, at the right time, right moment, I will tell you the reason why.
Amanda nods, I know that she extremely wants to know why. We talk about another topic. I give Amanda some advice about her job, and we have time to know more about the past of us.
- So you dropped out of school when you was 16, and even had to move back to your parents house because of bankrupt when you was 30. Oh, Simon... Poor you, but you're now have your own success.
She was really surprised when I told her my past. It's her turn to let me know about her.
-You did know that I used to have an aberrant affair... I divorced, everybody said bad things to me. I receive lots of curses... I knew that I've done something which can't be forgive. But honestly, I want to change their misconceptions, and I swear, I never want to be a bad girl.
She started to cry, I can't do nothing but hug her tightly and comfort her.
-Everything is ok now, darling, I won't let anybody hurt you anymore.

   I'm not so sure whether you guys still remember Connie Talbot. She appeared on the first BGT season. And up to now that eight-year-old girl even older than me. But all I want to do is confirm that Amanda did kiss Simon on his cheek that day😂
About the dinner date, I base on a real story too. Simon and Amanda used to on date, but everything just happened quite like my story. And Amanda never admitted that as a real date. This date will continue in the next chapter😉
