Chapter 12: Back to you

  -Hey Stephen, I think Simon and Amanda is having a arguement
Piers whispered to Stephen. Both of them are quite worrying
-I think so, too. They don't even look at the other face during last night party. Wish nothing happens
Back to Simon and Amanda, after talking with Simon, Amanda doesn't feel to stay at the party anymore. She seems quite upset with what Simon said.
-I think it's time for me to left
Amanda said to Piers, who is now enjoying the wine
-So soon, Mandy. Stay for a bit more. You're not a kind of person that left the party at this time!
-Well, I'm not feeling good right now. Moreover, I've called Chris to come and pick me up too...
She said in a softly voice
-Is Simon the reason?
Chris asked, but he receives no answer
-Really. Oh common, I know that he is a little bit strict and cold, that is his personality. You don't have to mind about that.
-Don't worry, there is nothing between us... Just some small problems
Then, Amanda quickly gets her coat and left. Chris is waiting outside in his car

Simon's POV

It's obviously Amanda was upset about my behaviour. She didn't stay to hear what I said next. I try to look for her, however, I couldn't find Amanda somewhere
-Piers!
I called Piers
-Oh, Simon. Where've you been?
-I was talking with Amanda for a while... Have you seen her? I have something more to tell her.
-She has just left, Chris came and picked her up
Piers replies me
-At this time...? Isn't it quite soon?
-Hey, have you done something wrong to Amanda, that's why she left...
I didn't let Piers to say all the sentence, I immediately run to the door, maybe Amanda hasn't left.
I was late. As soon as I ran outside, the car started to move. 
The next day, I try to find Amanda. We have many things to talk
-Amanda, you left so soon last night
-I had works to do at home. Moreover, Alexa would be unhappy if I get home late
-Is it because of me? I'm sorry...
I apologized for being cold to her
-Don't do that Simon. Just act like what you want. You're right, we aren't liked what we used to anymore. You're the person who create the gap between us!
  The staff calls Amanda to check her mic again. She walks away.
We're having a rehearsal for the liveshow.  I want everything to be perfect, not even a single fault could happen in the semi-final night. Therefore, I'm deeply busy in preparing and forget about Amanda. She's now having a happy life after marriage. I'm glad for her happiness.

Amanda's POV

Maybe I've been so rude with Simon. It's right he behaved like that. Because he wanted to protect me, didn't want any bad rumours related to me.
I know Simon loves me, and I really appreciate it. It would be hard for him after I get married, that is why he tried to avoid me as much as I can. However, I cannot just leave things like this. I miss the time when we used to be closed. Or, am I too selfish, even know it would be hard for him.
Simon and me don't talk much during filming for the second semi-final night, he avoids me, and I can't do nothing but talking with Piers.

[Writer's POV]
-This situation, don't you think Simon was isolated from the other judges!?
Ant asked Dec, they're standing inside the backstage
-Hmm, Amanda is just talking with Piers, and it would be hard for Piers to cross over Amanda to Simon
Dec replies, in worrying
-With his bossy trait, I used to think that it will happen someday. Simon is now really deeply in his own world.
- I do think like you, Ant. However, it doesn't stop him from being badly criticised others
Both of them are bursting into laugh

Simon's POV
After thinking carefully, I decided to make up with Amanda. I walk toward her at the end of the show, as fast as I can, before Chris comes and picks her up.
- Amanda, you've done a wonderful job today
- Thank you. So do you!
It's been a while I haven't hear her voice clearly. She's now standing in front of me, it makes me quite confused
-Well... These days... I really miss you, darling
-Me too. It's good that I can hear you call me like this
- Darling? You like this?
-Of course, it is sweet, isn't it?
Amanda starts to smile, she looks really beautiful.
-I also miss your smile. I haven't seen this for ages
- Oh common, I smile everyday. It's your fault not looking at me!... Because you always avoided me..
- I know, I come here to say sorry for being like that
-I have said something strictly at the recent party too, Simon. Sorry for not understand your feeling
- So... We're now back to normal, aren't we!?
I say in a low voice
- I think so. And, please don't behave like that anymore Simon. I don't want to lose my friend
I step forward her and embrace her with my arms.
-I got it
I then give Amanda a kiss on her hair and her forehead.
-I miss your tight hug, Simon. You should do this to me more often
-You're so childish Amanda, even now you're mother of a daughter
-Just only with you
Amada sighs. Her phone rings, it is from Chris
-I think I gotta go. Chris has come
She tends to go, but I suddenly hold her arm
-Goodnight, sweetheart!
-You too, Simon

I've suffered from a fever these days so I can hardly write anything. I tried my best and did complete in midnight. Moreover, it's getting harder for me to have some new idea.
