As popular this line may be, it has a lot of potential angst. Thus, the fanfics that circulate around this line is born.
But imagine this, what if he was the bad guy sometimes... Look, hear me out.
He said, he wasn't always bad guy. This is basically giving us a clear statement that sometimes he is the bad guy but other times not.
Okay, the angst idea:
Virgil, as the main villain of Imagination, versus Roman, the protagonist of Imagination.
But this time, the villains win.
