Kai's POV:
There are stories that need to be kept, never be told. There are secrets in this world buried deep inside of our hearts and if they ever come out, the freeze everything they touch with their words.
The night is lonely and cold. I stand outside my door with my heart in my hands, waiting for a sign, something that could bring me back to life.
"Jongin..."
My chest hurt, the cold air makes it difficult to breath, the unspoken words stuck in my throat make it impossible to speak. I can't feel my nose anymore and my hands tremble as they are touched by the delicate snowflakes.
"Jon...gin..."
I don't want to continue anymore, I can't fly anymore, because I hear her voice, I hear her whisper my name and how it slowly fades away, just like her light. The memory... the memory is agonizing, it scratches me from the deepest parts of my soul, it breaks my wings. Because I saw her die in a night just like this. My girl is gone..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"No! No! No! Please... don't give up. I beg you little girl, don't go." A crying Jongin screams under the storm. "Please.. you can't leave me alone, you can't.." He rested his head on his belly over his hands covered in blood from making pressure and try to stop the bleeding. "If you don't come back, I don't know what I will do"
Her light was already gone, she had been laying like that for a while now.
The look on her face seemed calm despite the lost sensation her eyes showed. She was probably scared, scared of leaving without him. She had left this world before the first snowflake fell, before the only tear she shed ran down her cold cheek.
"I.. I never told you..baby.. I never told you.." Jongin sobbed on the floor just as the help started to arrive.
But they were late, she was gone.
One heart stopped beating, a pair of wings stopped flying and two lives were broken.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kai's POV:
If my voice could reach back to the past it would tell her with one song how much I loved her, because I never did. It was too late when I decided to do so and today I regret not telling her from the first time I saw her, form the first time I saw that bright smile.
The land is empty, the trees fall under my gaze. the flowers disappear and our hidden secret place was impossible to reach with broken wings. I thought it was the end of everything, but if it was then how come I can still feel this pain, how can I wake up every morning full sorrow from the dreams that are undreamed.
When I wake up they disappear from the world, they vanish just like she did, they become part of my memories. But there's one thing from her that remains untouched, her image on the mirror. I see her there everyday when I wake up crying. Her image is just like the first time I saw her, bright, pure, and innocent. Her wings, wide opened, throb a little and shine with the little rays of sunlight that come though the window.
She smiles at me, takes my breath away and makes me hope that one day she will come though the cold glass and take me with her.
And I wait for her,
I wait for my angel to heal my wounds and fly together with me just one last time...
