jaiden: "i-im sorry james, i cant" jaiden said and ran off to her bathroom.

james sat there on jaidens bed feeling regret and disappointment. he got up and knock on the door.

james: "jaiden, i'm sorry. i shouldn't have done that."

jaiden slowly opened the door and looked up at james with red, puffy eyes with tears falling down her cheeks.

jaiden: "no no i-its ok you don't need to apologize.

james: "ok. again i'm sorry i should be getting home.

jaiden: "ok see ya later i guess"

james: "see ya"

~james pov~

james left and walked to his house which was not far. when he got home faith, his older brother luke, and little sister arianna were on the couch watching tv. faith noticed that james looked a bit down. she knocked on his bedroom door but no answer.

faith: "james are you ok? you looked a bit sad, is something wrong?"

james: "nothing, im fine."

faith: "are you sure. i can help you know."

james: "ya im sure."

faith: "you know you can talk to me anytime right?"

james: "yeah i know. i'll tell you if something is wrong."

faith: "ok"

faith went back to the couch and started to tell luke and arianna everything and how worried she was. luke assured her that everything was fine and that they can trust james.

~jaidens pov~

ugh whats wrong with me! why are things like this. i know i like him but we're best friends that would be weird and akward. i need to get over him. we cant be together we're best friends. i just want to end this.

a couple years later james didnt go to college while jaiden did. they still kept in touch and were still best friends. james visits jaiden a coulpe times a week and they hang out together on the weekends if jaiden isnt busy. but jaiden was acting different latly. more distracted.

james: "hey jaiden are you ok. youve been acting different latly?"

jaiden: "hm oh yeah im fine why?"

james: "oh nothing nvm"

jaiden: "ok"
