jaiden had been getting these same feelings in her chest. everytime she was around james. she decided she would go to see a therapist to talk it out and see what the therapist had to say.
on the day of the appointment
therapist: "so jaiden why don't you tell me what's wrong."
jaiden: "ok so whenever i'm around or thinking about a certain someone i get this fluttery feeling in my heart and start to blush."
therapist: "ok and are you two in a relationship?"
jaiden: "no but he's my best friend."
therapist: "ok have you told him about how you feel"
jaiden: "no"
therapist: "ok so correct me if i'm wrong but it seems like you simply just have a crush."
jaiden: "what but he's my best friend"
therapist: "well i can tell you two enjoy eachothers company, you have similar preferences, and you seem comfortable together. yes?"
jaiden: "y-yes"
therapist: "ok so what i suggest you do, and this can be difficult, but i think you should tell him how you feel."
jaiden: "oh ok thank you so much"
therapist: "not a problem."
jaiden walked out to her car and just sat there for a while thinking "can it be am i in love with james?" then she was interrupted by the loud beep of a car horn. someone was waiting for jaiden to leave so they could get the parking spot. she quickly reversed and drove off to james house.
at james house
jaiden: knock knock
james: "oh hey jaiden"
jaiden: "hey james can i umm talk to you about something?"
james: "sure come on in faith just went to the mall"
jaiden: "thanks"
they sat down on the couch and jaiden started talking
jaiden: "so um i've been getting this feeling in my chest whenever i'm around you so i went to the therapist and um well she said...
james: "what is it jaiden?"
jaiden: "she told me i'm in love with you and i think i am."
james didnt say anything but instead kissed jaiden with no warning. after a couple seconds jaiden kissed back. they did this for a minute until they pulled away.
james: "i've been wanting to do that for so long. i love you jaiden."
jaiden: "i l-love you to"
