RobxReader (Nerf Battle)

You were so excited about your new job. You got to play with NERF guns for a living, I mean who wouldn't love that. You grew up with 4 brothers and no others sisters, so you've been around NERF guns basically your whole life.

As you walked into Blue Base you were pelted by NERF bullets. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry. Are you ok?" You heard someone ask you as he helped you up as you fell when you got hit. "Yeah, I think I'm fine, not what I was hoping for my first day on the job though. I'm Y/N, the new BU member." "Nice to meet you I'm Rob, producer of BU. Sorry about hitting you, we were just testing out the idea for our next shoot. Here let me show you around the base." Rob said as he shook your hand and motioned you to follow him.

As Rob showed you around, you were amazed at how intricate everything was. Your favorite part by far though had to be the armory, there had to be at least 100 NERF guns in that room, you had never seen that many all at one time before. out of the corner of your eye, you saw Rob chuckling at you. You gave him a weird as you didn't necessarily know what was so funny.

"Sorry Y/N but the look on your face when we walked in here was just so great. I don't think I've ever seen anyone react like this when the first saw the armory." Rob explained. You just laughed at what he said as you picked up one of the guns from the wall and pointed it at him. "Y/N what are you doing?" Rob asked while laughing. "Payback." You simply said as you shot him point blank in the face. You then stole a pair of protective glasses and ran out of the armory with the NERF gun still in hand.

Before you knew it you and Rob were in a full-blown NERF battle, It was amazing. As you were turning a corner you and Rob ran right into each other and you fell down on top of him. You both looked into each other's eyes while laughing up a storm when all the sudden you both stopped and now we're just looking at each other. It was at that moment you realized just how attractive Rob was. He matched your type perfectly and it was strange you hadn't seen it before just now.

All of the sudden Rob started getting closer, almost like he was going to kiss you. Instead, he just shot you with a NERF gun. "I won!" He exclaimed as he got up and gave you his hand to help you off the ground for the second time today. "Not fair, rematch." You said as you shot him and ran in the opposite direction.

You and Rob ended up having 5 battles that day. You both were tied 2-2 and Rob told you if he won the last one you would go out to dinner with him. You agreed as you hoped he would win as you really wanted to go to dinner with Rob. He ended up winning the last battle and you were ecstatic but you kept it on the inside. "Guess you're going to dinner with me," Rob said as the two of you were cleaning up the mess you made throughout the day. "Guess so" you replied with a huge smile on your face.

It was only your first day on the job but you already loved it and couldn't wait for the next day as you could tell every day would be something new and you loved that.
