RobxReader (Injuries Pt.2)

   It had been a week since Y/N had broken her nose that one day she and Rob were having a NERF battle. She was finally off the pain meds the doctor had given her and she was ecstatic, she hated them as they made her feel all loopy and helpless.

  When she was on the meds, she couldn't drive so Rob had offered to take her to and from work. Ever since the day Y/N broke her nose Rob had been acting strangely. Not very noticeable but almost like he was very cautious about what he said around her. She did remember something about saying I love you to Rob but she thought it was just her imagination, on those meds she always thought things happened that didn't.

   Today was the first day Y/N had driven herself to work since the accident. When she walked into her and Rob's office Rob was already in there. He seemed surprised to see her. "How did you get her Y/N? You know that you aren't supposed to drive on your meds, I was just going to start heading out to go pick you up." Rob said obviously confused. "Rob don't you remember, yesterday was my last day on the meds. So calm down I'm fine I promise." Y/N said reassuringly as he looked distraught.

Y/N found it adorable at how much Rob made sure she was ok. "Y/N can I talk to you about something?" Rob asked suddenly sounding serious. "Yeah sure, what is it?" Y/N replied. "So the day you broke your nose and I brought you home you said something and I want to know if you actually meant it or if it was just the meds," Rob said kind of rambling as he was nervous. "I'm sorry Rob you're going to have to be a little more specific, those meds had my brain all over the place so it's been hard for me to remember what has happened this past week." Y/N said she had a feeling on what Rob meant but just in case she didn't want to say anything.

"Well, you kind of said you loved me. And I know it was probably in a friendship way, but just in case it isn't I want to say I love you too Y/N. You're the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about when I go to bed. If you felt the same way I would be the happiest man alive" Rob said, that was it he said all he could, all he could do now was hope she felt the same way.

  "Rob, trust me I meant I love you as in I want to be with you. You are the sweetest and most hardworking man I've ever met. I don't think I can find anyone better than you ever. I'm the happiest woman alive now that I know you feel the same." Y/N said.

  After they both poured their hearts out to each other they hugged for what felt like forever but was probably only a few minutes.

  "Hey want to have another NERF battle?" Rob asked. "Sure hopefully I won't break my nose this time. But I mean at least one good thing came out of it." Y/N said gesturing to her and Rob. They both laughed and spent the rest of the day having NERF battles with each other and the rest of the office.
