Some people find true love more than once. It's different; they find it when their 3 years old playing on the playground and someone random kid comes and kisses them, when their in high school and they have their first true love, or when their least expecting it and they actually run into someone at the grocery store. But some people only find true love once that no one else compares. That's the case for Y/N and Woods
They went to the same high school and let's just say it was never love at first sight. The two of them hated each other for the first three years of high school. That was until they were stuck together as partners for a class where they had to take care of a robot baby for one week.
"I can't believe I'm stuck with you for this assignment! How about we do this; you do all the work and I'll just put my name on it." Woods asked Y/N with his cool guy attitude. Y/N knew he was extremely smart as she knew him for about all of her life at this point, he was just "too cool" to show it so he just never tried.
"No way Woods. If you want a good grade your going to have to do this with me! So here's what we're going to do, your going to come to my house for the week and we're going to take care of this baby whether you like it or not, I'm not having you mess up my grade with all your attitude." Y/N snapped at him. She never liked his cockiness and his attitude and wasn't afraid to call him out on it.
"Now I'll see you tonight 7p.m sharp. You remember where I live as I believe it's right next to your house." Y/N said as she walked away.
Woods and Y/N took care of the fake baby for the first few days with just them doing their own things. The last night after the baby had cried for two hours they both flopped on the living room couch. "Uhhhh I can't wait to get rid of this baby and this stupid project." Woods said exhausted from the week they had just been through. "You know Woods, what's your problem with me I want to know. Did I ever do anything to you? Because I can't find any other reason why you hate me so much?" Y/N said genuinely curious. "You see Y/N that's the problem, I don't hate you, I never did. I'm terrified of you." Woods said honestly. Y/N was so confused. "Terrified? Of me? How can you be terrified of me?" "I'm terrified of the feelings I have for you, they've have been there since freshman year when we were partners in chemistry. I was too cool to admit them so I just did what every boy does, pretend like I hated you." He said. Y/N was in utter shock. Woods liked her? Was this for real. No It couldn't be. "Woods I cant do this. Stop lying and tell me the real reason wh——." Y/N couldn't finish her sentence as Woods grabbed her face and kissed her. For both of them the kiss was nothing they had experienced before. It was like something from a movie.
After that night, Y/N and Woods stopped hating each other and became really close friends but they never brought up what had happened between them that one night. As they were only one month away from graduation and they were going to two different places. After they graduated they never saw each other again and both thought they had moved on, until one day.
One day at the Hi5 Studios office Matt announced they would be hiring a professional photographer to their team. It was something they had talked about for months now and Matt finally found the person for the job. It was her first day and Woods was excited to meet the new team member.
"Everyone come down here!" Woods heard from downstairs orange base. He started to headed downstairs but when he reached the bottom he saw someone he never expected to see. The girl from high school he never got over. The girl he thought he would never see again.
"Y/N?" Woods said still frozen on the bottom of the stairs
"Woods?" she replied with the confused face that reminded him of that one night from high school where he confessed his feelings to her.
Neither of them expected to see each other again let alone now be working together. Oh if they only knew what this experience had in store for the two of them
