MattxReader (Elevator)

AN: Just pretend that the bases all have elevators cause otherwise, this makes no sense.

   Y/N walked into the base today exhausted because she had gotten not even two hours of sleep the night before. She was too tired to walk up the stairs as it would probably take up the little energy she had, so she decided to take the elevator. The elevators were about 3 months old, Matt decided to add them for some reason Y/N couldn't remember but at that moment she was glad they were there.

When she pressed the elevator button Matt walked in and came up next to her. "You too tired to take the stairs too?" He asked. "Yeah I'm exhausted, I swear I'm going to need a gallon of coffee to just get through the day." She joked but was somewhat serious as she was going to have to do something to keep her awake.

The elevator finally opened after a couple of minutes. Y/N was glad all she wanted to do was be in her office. Almost as soon as the elevator started it had stopped. "WHAT THE HECK!" Matt screamed. Y/N winced as he was extremely loud. "Matt chill." She said laughing, she loved how animated Matt was. To be honest Y/N had always liked Matt, she edited his videos and she loved how he was exactly the same off camera as he was on camera.

"Sorry Y/N, I just can't believe that the elevator has already broken, we've only had them for 3 months." Matt said, "I'm going to text Joey to come in to try to fix it." He said as he then went on his phone. Y/N had always been claustrophobic, so she was starting to freak out. She started to feel lightheaded and breathing really hard and sat down in the corner with her head in her hands. When Matt finally finished talking with Joey he saw Y/N on the floor and went over to her extremely worried.

Matt squatted down onto the ground making sure to not touch her. "Are you ok Y/N?" he asked. "Can't...can't breathe....claustrophobic." She said between breaths. "Y/N look at me, look at me, put your hand on my chest and breathe, breathe to my heartbeat." He said. It took a couple of minutes but Y/N had finally calmed down.

"Thanks, Matt, I feel really embarrassed now," Y/N said looking down to her feet. Matt grabbed her face so she would look at him. "There's nothing for you to be embarrassed about. I'm just glad I could help you." Matt said. Then something happened that Y/N had only dreamed about, they kissed. They both felt something the had never experienced before. They continued kissing until they heard a ding and they both jumped back to opposite sides of the elevator.

On the other side was Joey, with a screwdriver. "Fixed it." Was all he said before leaving to go to his office. "So that was fun," Matt said and Y/N both laughed. "Sure was. Want to go get coffee, definitely need some." She asked. "I would love too, but let's take the stairs." He said before he took Y/N's hand and walked down the stairs and out to his car to go get coffee.
