TannerxReader (Roommates Pt.2)

   It had now been 3 months since the night Y/N had found out that her ex-was cheating on her. At first, it was hard for her to do literally anything, she just spent the first couple of days with a box of tissues and curled up into a ball in her room.

   The whole time Y/N was going through this Tanner was there, always. He did way more for Y/N than she thought she had deserved. She was grateful for everything he had done for her. She didn't deserve him, she loved Tanner but he was so sweet and loving that she didn't want to ruin that.

  That day when Tanner and Y/N came home from work Y/N decided to go to bed. She was super tired as she had been up for a long time. Ever since the break up she hadn't really been able to sleep or if she did she would always have nightmares.

   Y/N laid there in her bed for about an hour before she finally fell asleep. About an hour or two later she felt someone wake her up; it was Tanner. Tanner was editing in his room when he heard screams coming from Y/N's room, he ran as fast as he could to make sure she was alright. She was asleep but looked absolutely restless. He picked her up from her bed and brought her into his room and climbed into his bed with her next to him.

  Tanner soothed her as he brought her into his chest. "You're alright. It was just a dream." Tanner said. After a while of just laying there, Y/N spoke up. "I've been having the same dream over and over again. We got into an argument and we stopped being friends and never saw each other again. It sucked and it felt so real. Please don't leave me, Tanner, I love you." Y/N said as tears fell from her eyes.

   "I love you too, I always have. Don't worry about me leaving, trust me that'll never happen for as long as I live. You are the one I want to spend the rest of my life with." Tanner replied as he lifted Y/N's face up from his chest and kissed her. "Now go to sleep, I'll stay here with you all night so you'll see that I won't leave you."

   After Tanner had said that Y/N had passed out really quickly. It was the best nights sleep she had gotten in months and being cuddled up with Tanner made her feel so safe. She never wanted to leave his embrace.
